Jax didn't get let go for not admitting others were better. No coach wants their player to kowtow to another player. He was let go for something much more immediate, possibly the rumor about the ex-wife is true and RC and Pop knew it would kill the team instantly. Not really. Everyone who didn't play would have made that difference, right? I mean, the fact that the Spurs were ahead in Miami in game 6 of the Finals, that was a recipe easy to reproduce, and if you just had Stephen Jackson, we would have won. the thread might be around but the posts with the relevant information were deleted IIRC, out of respect to the private information. A legit poster posted it, not some troll, and it was backed up by another poster who has confirmed sources before. Like I or DMC were saying, you don't cut someone from the team right before the playoffs unless something really bad or toxic happened. It's too bad Jackson had to be cut, he could've helped out more than McGrady, who in all respect did the best under crazy circumstances, but if the rumor was true than Jackson had to go.
