I'm boxing out for the mashed potatoes right away, imo. Then it's the stuffing, turkey (dark meat, no homo), smoked gouda mac and cheese, and rolls. Nothing green today for me. Finishing with some cherry pie. It's going to be gluttonous and glorious.:hungry:

This is my favorite holiday and it's not even close. I'm taking the pecan pie and rolls to my moms, where a huge spread that will include her famous corn casserole will be waiting for me. God bless my day as a fat ass.

What time do you fagots usually eat? Like 5 here. Shit sucks. I would like to eat from the get go. I''m already high and starving.

Those "munchies" getting the better of you, huh?
Keep in mind as soon as you ingest a single bite or drink, you will lose your high and have to start all over again.
Count your lucky stars and enjoy your high.
:lol

I'll hopefully eat around 3pm. Pies (pumpkin w/whip cream, buttermilk chess, and Dutch Apple) instead of supper later.

I did a big dinner with friends last weekend and will be doing a big traditional dinner with other friends next weekend, so today I'm just cooking for me. Scratch made raviolis and sauce, boudin sausage, and steamed veggies. And I'll be making a sweet potato pie. Got a late start on my sauce, though, which has to cook for eight hours, so my solo dinner will be late. Just video games and the smell of heaven simmering away until then.

I'm neither lonely nor sad today, but thanks for the concern.

By the way, in what way is actively responding to a message board 45 minutes away from sitting down for a family dinner happy?

So says my doctor. If you must eat French fries, at least only eat the French fried sweet potatoes.

I have always doubted that simply because it is "fried".

But more negativity as per usual from you, hence the "lard ass" invective thrown my way.

That doesn't make sense.

I gave you information. Instead of being grateful for the fat ass saving info, you're whining that the info wasn't delivered in a bright happy box with flowers and bunny rabbits.

This makes you a huge pussy. Not whining, just pointing it out.

Fell into a sweet deal Thanksgiving evening. Had a friend put up a message on FB that she had a full extra smoked turkey that she was giving away for free(had a big crowd planned but a bunch didn't make it). I told her that if she couldn't find a taker before morning I'd come get it. She messaged me back and said she didn't have room in the refrigerator and needed to get rid of it tonight. She didn't live that far from me, so I said what the hell and went and picked it up. When I got there, she tells me that the turkey had been smoked by Stanley's(made Texas Monthly as a top 50 BBQ joint in Texas). I had it in the floor board on the way home and the smell was heavenly. Got it home, carved it up and have been enjoying it every day since. Easily the best turkey I've ever eaten.

I think the fast is counter productive as your stomach shrinks outta hunger.. You need to be stretched out (no homo) maybe even pop a Xanax with a beer a few hours before you eat

I'll skip breakfast tomorrow for sure. I think everyone always has their eye on one particular dish at the table--and over the years it's become understood that the smoked gouda mac n cheese is my domain, and makes up about 60-65% of my food intake that day. I have family coming from Niagara Falls that are bringing DiCamillo's bread...it's heavenly tbh. Other than that it's gonna be the staple nom-noms: turkey, stuffing, grean bean casserole, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie.

Feast and football, there's simply nothing better in life.
