Nearly all of those videos had been removed by YouTube. Why is that? Obviously, people are just recording what's going on around them, it's not like there is any ip infringement. I wander if Walmart pays the individuals to remove them.

:lol I'd be hiding at the register too

Imagine how much the Walton heirs laugh at this. They're all sitting in a mansion somewhere talking too each other about the 3rd world country they've created inside their stores that kicks out billions in dividends every year.

They must have really gotten a kick out of the Thanksgiving Wal-Mart food drive for needy Wal-Mart workers. Here broke-ass $8 an hour associates. Buy some food from our store for the lowly $7 an hour associates.

Those commercials about the opportunities and benefits at Wal-Mart make me think of that one every time. :lol

Nah man, if I was Jacob at the register I'd be trying to stir shit up. I'd walk by the crowd with another associate and casually mention the $100 PS4s in the back of the store; only 15 left.

True actually it'd be awesome to try and get the people so riled up they sabotage the whole store.

It's pathetic tbh. It's really is true these prices are fucking the exact same as any sale. In Canada we have that on Boxing Day (Dec 26), but without the fights.

All you need are buzz words and shiny objects and the populous is running like a horde from Walking Dead.

In retrospect, maybe not a great idea to accept Lone-Star Card at the end of the month. Why can't Black Friday fall on the first?

YouTube is going to force someone else to create a similar site with less restrictions. Every time something interesting is posted they get into SR moderator mode.

It's like Mom bear takes over. And we know what that did to Spurs report. I lost respect for YouTube when they deleted all of Alex Jones footage of the Boston bombings and since then they delete anything that may be controversial. I always read how someone posted a video and it was removed but yet you can see all kinds of grossed out shit just not some plane spraying chemicals in the sky?

Facebook deleted Alex Jones page for a photo of some government employee wearing the same backpack as the suspect in the Boston bombings minutes after it was posted but to weeks to delete the woman being beheaded after millions protested?

Can't wait for the new site and for YouTube to become the next MySpace.

This is the best thing that could happen to those Wal Mart employees. If this does not motivate them to better their lives, nothing will.

yep, all minimum wagers needs is simply, just the MOTIVATION for a better life, and It Will Come

but not in America where being poor, born poor means for the majority that you live and die poor, and early.

Americans Want a Great Big Increase in the Minimum Wage (http://www.thenation.com/blog/177485/americans-want-great-big-increase-minimum-wage)

It is time for a great big increase in the minimum wage.

Who says?

The American people.

It is not just the thousands of fast-food restaurants workeres and their allies who rallied Thursday in 130 cities across the country (http://www.thenation.com/blog/177451/fast-food-strikes-hit-100-cities-thursday), although the “strike against poverty wages” puts a human face on the data charting a dramatric increase in enthusiasm for this fight.

It is vital for supporters of wage increases to recognize—as everyone from Pope Francis to President Obama is talking about income inequality—that few proposals attract such broad support as the idea of raising hourly pay so that people who work forty hours a week can support their families.

A Hart Research Associates poll (http://nelpaction.wordpress.com/2013/07/24/new-poll-overwhelming-majority-of-americans-view-minimum-wage-increase-as-important-priority-for-congress-over-next-year/) conducted last summer for the National Employment Law Project (http://www.nelp.org/) Action Fund found that 80 percent of Americans surveyed favor a $10.10-an-hour wage floor. And the support cuts across lines (http://www.nelp.org/page/-/rtmw/uploads/Memo-Public-Support-Raising-Minimum-Wage.pdf?nocdn=1) of partisanship, ideology, race and region.

Ninety-two percent of Democrats favor the increase, as do 80 percent of independents and 62 percent of Republicans.

Support from Americans who earn over $100,000 a year (79 percent) is roughly the same as from Americans who earn under $40,000 a year (83 percent). Southerners are almost as supportive (81 percent) as Northeasterners (86 percent).

This enthusiasm is not just theoretical. It is immediate. Seventy-four percent of Americans (http://www.nelp.org/page/-/rtmw/uploads/Memo-Public-Support-Raising-Minimum-Wage.pdf?nocdn=1) say that Congress should make it a priority to significantly increase the minimum wage.
