:lol

There's a lot of positives to be taken from this game tbh. Sure the Spurs lost, but it's part of the learning process..

- Marco Is a hell of a player. Showed a lot of denfesive intensity in the second half something you will never ever see with Gary Neal

- Manu is getting criticized again, but the dude was instrumental in the comeback before running out of gas. It just shows that we still have a Manu Ginobili that's going to contribute heavily in the playoffs

- Timmy is back on track. I thought he should have taken more shoots, and I'm sure he'll figure that out sonner or later..Learning process.

- Tony was superstar Material tonigh tbh. He run out of gas, but what can you expect after shitting the bed and going 23 points down...He forced the issue in the first quarter and a little bit in the fourth though.

- Kawhi Leonard was terrible..But if there's one thing you faggots need to learn is that Kawhi has and will always be a playoff performer..Check finals and WCF the last two years for reference.

- Danny was terrible offensively...But watching him guard harden..Pop should know Green on Harden and Leonard on Parson is the way to go. Again Learning process even for Pop.

- Splitter, Bonner, Patty were awful but it's not going to get worse than that..

There was a difference in mentality and attitude going into the game tbh. for the spurs, it was just anther game..For Houston, it was more than that..They showed their cards today...

It's going to be a tough matchup in the playoffs, but this team is heading in the right direction

A week ago many in here thought so.

I think they need statement games against quality opponents rather than fizzle out and play no defense against teams that we should beat hands down.

Spurs will be fine. Houston is an easy matchup. They are a mentally weak team, hence why their shots weren't falling during that comeback. Of course defense played a part but we all saw it last year in the playoffs against the Thunder. Not a bad loss, Spurs shouldn't have lost the game but I guarantee we won't lose to them again. Also, Marco is DAT OL' SPORT!!!

If the spurs win the next 3 games, everyone will calm down and jump back on the bandwagon.

Oh, last night's game against the Rockets was a trap game, for sure. Coming back home, Thanksgiving weekend, ahead in the standings. The guys were not there mentally, but give them credit, they almost pulled it off. I hated getting down by 23, but watching the Spurs roar back was fun. They deserve to coast sometimes, too.

It's pretty serious when Spurs play 3 Western Conference playoff teams and lose to all 3.

Starting to look like a pattern as years past. Beat up on weak teams or injured teams, get a fat regular season record to build up fan expectations then do poorly against the better teams and hope for easy playoff matchups against injured teams to advance in the playoffs, then get beat by the first top healthy playoff team. they keep bringing back the same core year after year and expect it to be enough, they haven't won since 2007 with this core and that is with getting big breaks with easy matchups the last two years in the playoffs.

ahem, couldn't disagree more, he showed he is the premium cancer in the league, he was the #1 reason for the early struggles and when he got going in the second half, he was being torched on every single possession. he foul on harden with a pending hack-a-ho should also put to sleep the retarded takes that claim he is a high bbiq player. Overall he was the reason we lost and considering he had one hell of an offensive game, that's pretty scary, you can't bench hot players, but you also can't win without D.

Portland isn't a top 3 team. Their record is. They will be in the 6 or 7 range.

Howard was hacked a second before Beli contested Hardens shot. The Refs, not Marco blew it on that play.

really wanted that win just to have a quality win over a healthy elite west team, but it's fine. despite it being a loss, that was one of the most fun games all year

It is a statement game. That POP does not care that much about the regular season as other coaches/teams do.
