Good director and good actors...should be good...though I'm not sure how our resident militant atheists will accept it.:lol As far as the other side goes, the butthurt over the story is already starting in religious circles. A quick search will show you what I mean.

If directors actually wanted to do them right, the Bible actually has several good stories that would make good movies. The story of Joseph and Paul's travels in Acts immediately come to mind.

Will it be G rated for Sunday schools or will it be the rated R real Bible version where Noah gets drunk and naked

I'm not religious but I'll watch it. The special effects look pretty badass.

Apparently, Arronofsky has been in a fight with the studio and bible beaters about his making Noah seem too much like a radical environmentalist.

I like Crowe and it'll probably be a cool movie so I'll see it despite the religious attachment

I'd like to see the Good Samaritan done but where the hurt guy ends up being nuts and fucking with the Samaritan the whole movie and tracking him down and shit.

I still think Schindler's List sets the gold standard for genocide films. I doubt Noah will have a scene as good as that one DD used to have in his sig.

You forgot the part about about banging his daughters. At least it wasn't his sons. Noah may have been twisted but he was a straight dude.

He could of avoided all the drama by just calling the movie Flood. But I have to agree with koriwhat on Holly Wood it's all about renting seats and selling sugar.
