Nigga is like 50 yards behind Calvin IIRC in only 10 games. He doesn't have a QB like stafford throwing to him either and has no offensive weapons on his team. Always thought he was a future star in the league since I saw him at Baylor. He just needs to get his shit together off the field.

Any WR that can get that kind of production with Campbell, Hoyer, and Weeden throwing the ball to them warrants props.

You just know Trent "2.8YPC" Richardson will step it up eventually!

Talent isn't the issue; the fact that he's a major risk to go Tanard Jackson is. His value is too low to trade and probably will be until it's clear he's not going to get suspended. Won't give him top-five nods yet. Maybe next year, though.

dat drunk nigga sparked my fantasy comeback in my espn league. i will always have love for him and flash gordon as they both carried my ass into the playoffs. it's just a shame, he shoulda waited til after the season ended to hit the bottle & horse tranqs.

Yeah, Blackmon was just a good fantasy player. He doesn't have the physical or mental tools to be a top 5 guy. He ain't a guy who can beat you if you try to gameplan him out of a game.
1. Megatron
2. AJ Green
3. Josh Gordon
4. Andre Johnson
5. Demaryius Thomas

I love DT, but I don't think I'd put him in the top 5 yet, tbh..
He's certainly elite after the catch, but he's not as reliable as other great WRs prior to the catch, tbh..he doesn't create as much separation as other elite receivers, he relies more on contact after the catch..

josh gordon was the lifeblood of my fantasy team the last few weeks, but i couldn't overcome peterson/gronk this week

Top-2 easily in less time with less @ QB than Megatron and AJ Green. That is hard to beat...you try catching passes fro Old Man Weeden and dudes named Hoyer and Jason Campbell.

Why are people all of a sudden using Megatron's qb as a handicap against him? Olden and Campbell would also be capable of blindly throwing jump balls to Calvin Johnson tbh

the lions are the most pass happy team in the league and stafford just chucks it, and he's got a cannon arm. its arguably the best situation for calvin statistically

What's your list look like then? I was mulling between him and Dez. (I like them both over Brandon Marshall)
They're pretty comparable, so I gave the edge to DT because of his physical talents. It's the same thing with Josh Gordon, dude is insane after the catch, but I don't trust him nearly as much on 3rd and 10-15 to get me the first down. So if we're looking for complete receivers, I'd push both Gordon and DT down. Luckily, ya'll have enough stud receivers that you don't have to rely on DT for that...the Browns don't have that luxury.

i'm not going to pretend i have a clue about where to rank these guys after calvin, but i'd certainly rank marshall over dez and demaryius until proven otherwise. you could make a case for andre johnson #2 if you really wanted to.
josh gordon is my nig, my fav fantasy player of the year, but i think we're overreacting tbh. he's awesome, and is crazy young, but i have a hard time saying he's better than andre johnson, aj green, brandon marshall

Yeah, I realized I'm probably overrating Josh Gordon a bit. I'd only put him that high if you've got other receivers with the qualities that he doesn't. Like how Denver has Decker/Welker. You've got him in fantasy, so you probably remember that Green Bay game. I think it was raining and Weeden was awful but Gordon just did not catch anything that was thrown at him. I think he just dropped some endzone targets that you know most of the elite guys wouldn't do. He's still probably the best after the catch though.

Right, Stafford just chucks it. One can only imagine if Calvin was routinely getting accurate passes to go along with the hope and a prayer airballs he turns into plays.
