I said this before but people brushed it off cause it's just start of the season...
The whole treeating him like an old man thing and not allowing him to develop is getting in his head.
his confidence is an all time low..
Let's just hope we can win a ring with Bellineli instead of Leonard.

no reason he shouldnt be getting 36 minutes tbh like ive said before
never gonna develop his game if he doesnt play
he needs to play a few more minutes with the bench
he would definitely help their rebounding problems since Ginobili is the best rebounder on the 2nd unit
would even play Leonard at center over Ayres tbh..
Mills
Bellenli
Leonard
Diaw
Splitter/Ayres
sub Manu in later and reduce his minutes to 20
it gets Leonard about 2-3 more minutes per quarter

Leonards development is key to a championship.

His stats are down in many categories this year making me think he's hit a plataeu. Whether this is pop's fault or simply his own abilities is a question I don't know the answer to. The facts remain that he has not progressed how all expected him to and has in fact regressed. This is not good.

Because he sucked.
Cliffdivers galore in here. Nobody is playing big minutes on this team, and tonight in particular, there was no marquee guy for him to guard on the other team. Coming off knee tendinitis last year, why risk wear and tear early in the season when these games barely matter?
I agree that he should get more burn as an alpha, but that time will come when the inevitable (hopefully short-term) injury to Parker, Duncan or even Manu/Marco hits.

I also noticed Leonard played meager minutes compared to what he usually gets. I'm not sold on the idea of Leonard regressing, just think he's starting the season off slow. The playoffs will tell you everything you need to know and he'll either rise to the occasion as the future face of the franchise or he'll be exposed as a mere defensive-minded role-player.

He should at least be averaging 32-34 mpg, and that still a tad low for a young emerging, said to be an all-star type caliber player. Funny thing is he is the only true small forward spurs have yet he still manages to get very low minutes.
If he continues to only get roll-player minutes thats all he will ever be on this team, then again maybe thats all he is. I hope thats not the case.

He figured dribbling shifty would get him playing time by following Dunnys example all he needs to do next is color his hair red like boner

Last season before AS break: 29 minutes per game / 10.5 ppg -- After AS break: 34 minutes per game / 14 ppg.
He'll get his minutes, just wish he was getting consistent burn throughout the season. Spurs are winning everything, why not give Kawhi more burn, run some plays for him during these blowout wins to see how he does in a go-to role.

22% from downtown this season. 1 of 12 in his last 5 games. Can't dribble or pass the ball for shit. He's peaked and it's all down hill from here :O

Leonard will not be an All-Star this season.

As long as Duncan and Manu is on the team
Leonard will and always be a role player
It's not about playing time but role on the team

That isn't true, he has been given starter minutes and hasn't done a damn thing with them. When has Pop ever held someones hand? If your not performing to your potential your role gets reduced simple as that. Leonard opportunity is there, he has to fucking cease it.
