They're a fools gold team. Most of their damn shot attempts come from 3 point land. That kind of game plan isnt going to get it done...

They just launch a bunch of transition 3s and pullup 3s coming off screens which is the hardest shot in the game tbh..
Theyre a good team but need to work on that shot selection
Spurs also played horrible strong side defense by sagging of their man when Harden was driving and letting him make simple 1 man pass to get wide open 3s

Houston also plays some of the worst defense in the NBA. It shouldnt be TOO surprising when they lose to mediocre/scrub teams :lol

Houston is ranked 9th in defensive efficiency tbh..
only Harden is a bad defender on that team and its not like the Spurs exploit that matchup

Uhhh...this is a team that gives up 100+ points almost every night. They've already had teams score 137, 123, 122, 116, 114, 113, and 112 (three times) points against them..

Jazz's coach isn't going to play small just because the opposite team is playing small tbh, i mean, why would any coach let the opposite dictate the matchups?:rolleyes

when you play at a league leading pace then the other team will score more points just because their will be alot more shots in the game
I think they also have one of the top field goal % defenses as well
an example would be
1) a team goes 35/70 for 50% and scores 90 points
2) then they play Houston and go 45/100 for 45% and score 110 points
which team would you say did a better job defensively
Houston limiting them to 45% shooting or the other slower paced game letting them go 50%

Yeah, sometimes you get lit up from three. . .it happens. Now, we let people open a LOT in transition. . .so it wasn't all luck though.
Anyway, one loss, one win, it doesn't matter. Spurs have been sputtering a bit lately though, but luckily it's been right as Duncan has been stepping up. We'd probably have been getting crushed and be 0-3 with at least two blowout losses if Duncan didn't suddenly turn it around for us.

Despite being 3-15 coming into this game, the Jazz have some talent on their roster to be competitive. Trey Burke is coming along as a solid starting PG, answering their prior PG woes. It's not like the Rockets lost to a 2011-12 Bobcat type team.

We are a really young team - and our leaders don't commit to playing defense, especially Harden, who is amazing on offense and just as lazy on defense.
And we are missing Parsons who is so important to our overall team - this is a growth year for the Rockets they have the talent to win it all, but I believe we lack the level of detail and committment and our coaching is, uh, not great.
