All of the Knicks moves are blowing up in their face. Unprotected draft picks in 2014 and 2016, over the cap even without Melo and the potential to get nothing if they let Melo walk away or overpay him with a Max Contract to keep him.

Don't see it either. Better to sit this offseason out if they can't get a legit piece to build around, and 30 year-old whiner Carmelo isn't much of a prize anymore. Not sure I want melo. But to say he is NOT one of the most gifted scorers in the game is crazy. And the game is still about getting more buckets than the other team. Sure he lacks defense but he is also a good rebounder. Lakers team is filled with middle to bottom rotation guys anyway so they should not mind Kobe/Melo taking most of the shots. he is not my 1st choice ... but Lebron nor durant are coming to the Lakers.

I could see that. Melo grew up in Baltimore IINM, Wiz has young prospects NY could use, either Otto Porter or Beal, not both. Only issue is salaries won't match, Wiz would need to send Nene too but with NY paying Chandler, Amare and Bargnani $45-$50 mil, I don't think they're ready to add another $13 mil. Unless they ship Tyson somewhere else since he's their most valuable piece at this point.
