No tears. I've said on numerous occasions, I hope I am wrong. If I'm right, the world will have another war over religion and this one could destroy it.

However,

Let's examine the guy at the mic, shall we?

"I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future...But I'm not going to do anything violent to promote that. I'm going to do it through education." - Ibrahim Hooper

So I guess you want to be forced to pray to Allah 3X a day.

He also said this.

In late July, I contacted Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman and director of communication at the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). When he returned my call, he presented his point of view about the Arab-Israeli conflict and militant Islam. When I reminded him about CAIR's record of openly supporting Hamas, Hizbullah, and other organizations deemed by the government to be terrorists, he replied by telling me that "CAIR does not support these groups publicly."

So, privately, he does. He was offered on numerous occasions to clarify, but refused.

Go here and read the issues related to the people issuing the fatwa and see for yourself. Left hand side of the screen, Steven Emerson and the Investigative Project, buch of real dummies run this site.

Of course the average American doesn't know this and accepts the statements made at face value.

I won't.

Of course, the entire organization signature list can't be checked out, but CAIR is the biggest organization so I would assume many others on this list believe in what they believe in.

Go ahead and discount proven facts, I feel racist and link (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZNxdm824&spu=true) will be the response, as usual.

This is what the First Amendment of the Constitution is trying to protect American citizens from. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

I think ideology is the main factor in all wars second only to greed of course, but ideology is a better cover. I mean when have you ever heard "And in other news, today the agnostic rebels attacked the atheist militants in an effort to persuade them of the possible existence of a higher power.”
