son you need to hit up every WWI memorial up there. The Vimy memorial looks tits imo. Also look up any of the preserved trenches and bring back souvenirs. Sheffield memorial park, the Douaumont ossuary, the Beaumont Hamel Newfoundland memorial(where you can still see the trenches/craters in google maps https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=50.073611,2.648056&q=loc:50.073611,2.648056&hl=en&t=m&z=15 ), Ypres in general, there's too many to list fwiw.

take lots of pics. tbh.

But I'm no longer interested in that...I wanna know where you staying. You've been trying to fly across the pond on buddy passes for some time now. Looking to stay in hostels...taking only 4-5 hunded cash...not washing your hands when u shit.

I kinda grew up in Brussels

I accidentally drank Belgian beer when I was 3 years old :lmao

Went near Amsterdam with the family while I was in Belgium, but was way too young to appreciate the good stuff :cry

If you go to Amsterdam, stop by Madurodam; amazing, realistic, miniaturized city

Awesome man, Lille is around the ballpark im thinking about. He was a gunner at the Battle of Loos, which from what i understand is a very small town now. He fought a couple others in the nord de pas Calais region, but they escape me. Will pm later, thx dude

world travel costs more than 500 bucks tbh

DeadlyDynasty

:lol$500...did he really say that? On my phone in rush hour traffic so i missed it. The company is giving me 3500.00 in travel expenses for each furlough, and even then I'm still anticipating OOP costs

Im definitely going to Ypres in Belgium. Hopefully i have time to make it down to some of the key Somme battlefields like La Bpiselle. Verdun, might not have enough time.

I visited Belfort and Ronchamp. Pretty cool places. Not as north as you're looking, tbh. I went to visit a place called Notre Dame du Haut. It's a funky piece of architecture. Also visited Paris in the north. You've probably heard of it.

Lille is a really nice spot to establish your camp base. It's a very nice student city with tons of bars, night clubs, excellent restaurants. Loos is a tiny city not too far. People are extremely friendly. I'm sure you will have a blast :tu

you need to see a soccer game, Lille has a very solid team.

The city of Toulon is not that nice that's a military base but region around is amazing. For the sake of it, Toulon is one of the fief of Front National, nationalist movement. A lot of lefties in that area :lol

Go to Germany. Stay in the Black Forest and get a free Konus card from your hotel or guesthouse, which incredibly lets you travel the entire Black Forest region for free. Use your savings to make day trips into France.

France >>>>>>>>>>> Your country.

France is great country. France will surprise you with its vibrant beauty. Yes, the south of France is the most popular destination, but the north is great, as well. Normandy is a real treat and I'd try to make time to stop by the greatest city on the Earth (Paris) while you're there! :)
