No excuses. Pacers came off a long trip. If Wade plays he has had plenty of rest, no rust excuses. No wade the Pacers should win if PG at least matches Lebron. IF PG is a legit MVP contender this is a chance to make a statement.
Lebron only needs to continue to be great and his case is made. I will say this though, if Lebron is as elite on defense as many on here claim (i say Lebron is very good bot not Bowen, Pippen, Cooper Tony Allen good because he has to carry the offense) he should be able to lock down PG for at least a significant stretch of this game ...

Best/biggest game of year so far? I hope so ...

His progression as a coach has been unreal, tbh..

He went from being a below average coach that was afraid to step on Lebron/Three's toes to the 2nd best coach in the league, tbh..every off-season there have been reports of Spoelstra studying systems and metrics to aid the development of new wrinkles in the system, he's a great example of new-wave coaches..

If Oden can give us 15 minutes in the playoffs against Indy, it's a wrap. Lebron is doing to PG what he did to Rose. Without Hibbert this game would already be over

It's pretty obvious Miami has started coasting, tbh:lol..

They can't remain focused for an entire regular season game, they already made a statement in the 1st half, Indiana knows what happens when Miami begins to give a fuck..

Hibbert owns you guys much like Ibacka owns the Spurs. He will always have great games against Miami. You are in trouble when you are going to rely heavily on a scrub with the knees of a 60 year old to stop him. Oden is also an offensive liability which will allow Indiana to double off of other players like Wade,Lebron.

Despite missing all of 3 games and most of 2 more due to injury, Williams managed to rush for 1,117 yards and 7 touchdowns on 216 carries, as well as receiving for 252 yards on 29 catches, earning himself a spot in the Pro Bowl (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Pro_Bowl). He and Jonathan Stewart became the first running back duo in NFL History to rush for 1,110 yards apiece (with Stewart rushing for 1,133 yards), as well as becoming the first Panther running back to rush for 1,000 in consecutive seasons.

:lol Another night of Miami coasting, tbh. I hope the Denver Broncos aka the Miami Heat of the NFL can get away from those coasting habits with the regular season winding down, tbh.

Anyways, it is funny how Indiana keeps being put on the same level as Miami. They are well below Miami's level, and it will remain that way when Miami sends them home again in May as usual. The NBA is all about Miami and teams trying to have a shot at hoping to knock them off. Indiana can be the 2nd tier all they want but that is a steep drop from Miami, tbh.

I don't see how the Heat are better than the Pacers this year. The Pacers are just younger, fresher, and deeper while the Heat have been depending on their Big Three since 2010. Miami wasn't coasting it sure didn't look like it in the first quarter when Lebron was huffing and puffing to catch his breath. For a team that was coasting they bitched a lot in the final two minutes to get a bunch of instant replay calls. Hell Bosh tried to steal that jump ball from Hibbert. The heat really wanted this game but they lost it. Indiana is the Heat's daddy and they will break them in half next week in Miami.

spurraider21
12-11-2013, 02:16 AM
miami has been coasting by in large this season, but they were gunning for this game, no question. they know indiana is the only legitimate threat to them in the east, so they'll take any game against them seriously. Wade didn't even get the night off, which is a good sign Miami was trying. LeBron played 38 minutes, Wade played 34. keep in mind they went to 7 games last year and the home game won the last 4 games of the series. It's a tough task for anybody to take the Pacers in indy. Miami is no exception. the pacers are clearly making a strong push for the 1 seed, miami doesn't really seem to care about it tbh.

Maybe you should check the stats first

Brady 3,685 passing yds 7.05 yds per attempt, 21 TDs 9 INTs 60.8%comp
Cum Newton 2776 passing yds 6.94 per attempt, 20 TDs 11 INTs 62%Comp

The only thing cum has on Brady is 1% higher pass completion, while Brady has led a much worse team to a better record.

Patriots defense sucks balls, yet they managed to beat Denver.

Pats defense - 16th in opp passing yds, 31st in opp rushing yds
Carolina defense - 5th in opp passing yds, 1st in opp rushing yds

offense

Pats - 8th in passing yds, 13th in rushing yds
Panters - 29th in passing yds, 9th in rushing yds

Cam has a much better team, yet he hasn't won as many games as Brady, that's all I need to know.

Beat em head to head. That's what matters. Not to mention Carolina will make it farther in the playoffs.

Not to also mention that even with a depleted team, Brady STILL has more weapons offensively than Cam.

Not arguing Brady < Cam because that's stupid.. just kinda hard to do much when your leading receiver is 35 followed by Brandon LaDrop

are you kidding me? Pats got screwed at the end of that game

oh yes, Brady has so many weapons, he had 7 games of Gronk, even without Gronk he was 5-1, the Jets loss was a defensive collapse, not to mention the bs "unsportsmanlike conduct" call, that led to the winning FG.

I don't buy the Heat coasting argument, people were saying they are coasting in last years ECF but then the finals happened which they almost lost if it weren't for 6.

I think they have a problem "bringing it" unless they have their backs to the wall and it could cost them, I don't think they will come out of the East, too much mileage.
This team would be scary though if they had PJ and Tex Winter.
