Baynes should start consistently getting the nod over Ayres every game. The only time Ayres should get minutes is when Baynes is having an off game.

I couldn't believe I saw Ayres as the starter at the beginning... I hope Pop learned his lesson.

I don't know how Ayres got the playing time over Baynes to begin with? I thought Baynes was playing better since the preseason. He had one bad game and Pop stopped playing him. By now at least every Spur has had a few poor performances but never lost their spot in the rotation(well except for Cojo).

If he were to have learned a lesson, it would've been after Game 6, tbh. BUT, he's still a HOF coach, tbh.

Yeah, apparently he injured it in the first half yesterday. Of course, that didn't stop him from tea bagging the Raps the whole game.

Hopefully he'll be available for Minny, we'll need to throw bigs at Pekovic and Ayres will get eaten alive.

Wait, did he get injured for real? I thought Pop was being himself again.

Yeah. It was in the game notes tonight on espn. I totally missed the news too.
Supposedly he sprained an ankle. Must have happened on the bus or Pop sent him back to Austin so he'll be fresh for the next game against a scrub, injured team.
