It's not really a big fight for Cormier, imo. If he happens to lose, it will be because it was his first serious weight cut in his career and he didn't train properly. We all know that he is the better fighter. If Shad wins, it will be a fluke and he will lose his next fight. That being said, Shad is going to get beat, again, and will just keep that gate for the next few years until he finally goes away.

This actually happens a lot. You would think these guys are just winding the camp down and focusing on technique but they must do hard sparring and grappling right to the week of the fight. Knee injuries are not that rare this far out surprisingly.

Daniel Cormier vs. Patrick Cummins - I'm incredibly tempted to pick Cummins here, just so I can say "I told you so" (even though it would've been an insanely lucky shot in the dark)...

Rory MacDonald vs. Demian Maia - Maia is dangerous, but I have a feeling Rory is going to come out with a vengeance after his loss to Lawler

Mike Pyle vs. T.J. Waldburger - I had a hard time picking this one - but I'm going with experiance

Stephen Thompson vs. Robert Whittaker - I know that Whittaker is an up-and-coming talent, but Thompson KO's are just hella fun

I don't actually hate her - I just usually root for the underdog in championship fights unless I'm a huge fan of the champ. But I think that she also rubbed a lot of people the wrong way when she coached TUF - It might have been the editing, etc., but that's just the way it is...

What a TRASH job by Dean. Normally he's fantastic but this was easily his worst performance ever. Just awful.

He probably got shit for letting the first fight go on too long and it influenced his decision to step in quicker during the ME. Ronda nailed her with a great body blow and Sara's body dropped instantly, then Ronda landed a few uncontested blows. While I agree that it was probably stopped early, I don't think it was as bad as a stoppage as people are making it out to be.
