Minus the turnovers, efficient game from Kobe, 8-15 from the field, got teammates involved. Solid game IMHO.

He carried 6-18 Gasol and 2-10 Young to a victory tonight. He's already done more in 4 games than Duncan has for an entire 2 months.

Gasol made the clutch FTs and the clutch block.

Not to mentioned Young actually was the one who brought them within 1 I think.

But the headlines will say Kobe led the furious comeback to win on the road per par. :lol

Lol Kobe hit 2 shots, was the one who assisted Young, and hit 2 freethrows to give LA the lead.

for his 4th game, he was exceptional.

No.

He's one of the worst wing defenders in the league and is still a turnover machine, two things that can't be blamed on the injury since he had these problems last year.

This isn't "hate." It's the truth. Kobe is done as an elite/top ten player in the league (most great players are by the time they reach their mid-30's, especially when you add a serious injury on top of it). His fundamentals and jumper are good enough that he might be able to score in the 18ppg-20ppg range on 40ish% shooting, but Kobe has now entered the savvy old-vet tier.

Not a bad thing. But the days of him being the centerpiece to a contending team are over.

He is playing a position he doesnt usually play, with a bunch of new guys, might take some time to adjust if he does. We have no one to run the point, i think its a bit premature to say hes done as an elite player, his physical condition looks good, just needs to get back into shape, and get over the mental part of the injury.

True that, brother.

I think Kirby has more turnovers in 4 games than Duncan has all year.

Yeah, he's human, terribly flawed and exhibits his weaknesses.

I found his grudgement against the Spurs fantastic in that he held it in silence and then confessed it. It was an adorable moment. Media wanted nothing to do with it because it was so honest and human. They don't want that. No way.

People skate over 4 & 5 because they came after the crescendo of Daddy & him and the triple. But, for Bryant they were important and crucial. And I've tried to latch onto his connection to those 2 titles and not trod with the horde. He needed those. I needed the first 3, but, those 2 were almost piggishnish for me, but, he needed them so desperately.

Good moments: I remember the young girl toward the end of Game 7 in '10 screaming as the decision came into focus. It was a dramatic moment.

Good game for Kobe against a slumping Bobcats team without their best wing defender, tbh..

I hope he can re-establish himself as a top 30 player by the end of the season, it's good for the league..
