Because it's December, and now it's the time to experiment and get players to learn the system. He'll probably end up at the back of the bench come Jan/Feb, but in the case of an injury to Splitter/Baynes, at least now you have a guy that played some good minutes out there and won't be lost. That's what I think, anyways.

Because he hits 3s. That's all he does. He doesn't pretend to be more. Putting Errs out there without knowing what you have is worse than putting out a known quality. Every player on the roster cannot be solid. That's not realistic. If the Spurs had Brooklyn's record I might give it more consideration.

Yes he's overrated and he's a scrub, but I think if he were a FA right now there would still be many teams willing to offer him mid-level contracts. Even if you're to trade Green, you'd have to pack him with a big contract and Matt bonner would be the ideal filler to throw in imho.
