congrats to them mavs for the dominant victory at home, and it was the first win for us in quite a while that we achieved without the Germany Allah leading our team, if I remember correct.

The return of Brandan Wright eased our pain of defense at the low post, and the 6'10 PF also contributed a lot at the offensive end tonight, being the most efficient scorer on the floor. Dude shot 9-10 from the floor, scoring 19pts in 19 minutes, along with 6 rebounds.

I've been an advocate of playing Marion more at the PF, and this game proves why. As the starting PF of our team, Marion scored 13pts on 5-13 FG shooting, which was decent but still not nearly as impressive as the 12 rebounds he grabbed (9 defensive, 3 offensive) which was team high, and he did all these in just 23 minutes.

There were rumors around the street claiming that Carter was done, or was about to get trade or even trimmed, but the 36yr old guard managed a strong rebuttal tonight towards all those doubts. He was without a doubt the best performer off the bench tonight, which fit his 6th man role. He shot 5-10 from the floor tonight including 3 three-pointers, notching a total of 15 points. And his 9 assists was game high, more than the Bucks starting five combined, not to say he also stole the ball from opponents hands 3 times tonight.

Calderon switched roles with Monta Ellis and it worked out good for both of them, as Calderon picked up the gun with Monta becoming the assists deliverer, whose joint effort ripped apart the Bucks defense and laid the irreversible foundation of our victory.

My nigga Blair had another solid match, just one rebound shy from notching a double double, though there're still many aspects where he needs to improve, like how to find his teammates who're left open and make the right pass, and how to avoid turning the ball over.

The most delighting news delivered by this game is that we've figured out a way to win games without Dirk, which's important for us, since our German Allah is no longer 20yr old and we can't expect him to play all 82 games throughout the season. The average height of our starting lineups tonight might hit a record low imho, with the 6'7 Marion being the tallest in our starting five. Despite the deficit of height, we still managed to grab more rebounds than our opponents tonight, 45-42.

Despite the victory, our biggest concern remains obvious. We conceded 22 points in fast breaks, which was bad enough considering we were playing small ball the majority of time. It didn't matter though, when we already got the win in our bag after 3 quarters or something, but this weaklink of defending fastbreaks would turn out to be deadly if it was the game 6 or 7 in the 2nd round playoffs against Lockets or OKC tbh.
