Should he, and do you expect him to play, tbh?..

Substantial sanctions on National TV.

If you sit Duncan you have to sit Manu too, imho. I don't know what I would do nor do I have a feeling of what Pop's gonna do.

I wouldn't play him. If I were betting if safely say no. Long flight, tough high paced game.

Of course the game is on fuckin TNT. Spurs about to get blown out and Pop about to get fined.

With OKC on Saturday and then another 3 games in 4 nights Monday - Thursday I just don't see how Pop would play his guys tomorrow. Unless Holt is in his ear.

At the very least, Kawhi needs to play and learn how to step up and be a star. Tonight wasn't a good game for him and he hasn't had the season we'd hope he'd have yet but coming out and dominating the Dubs tomorrow would be a great boost of confidence for him. He needs to play.

Play Tim with 28 sec left.

17 rebounds. Good GOD.

I'd be shocked if he or Ginobili played. This one has blowout loss written all over it (fatigue on the Spurs part, Jackson recently ripping into Warriors, them being due to play better to begin with) before we found out Parker wouldn't play. Plus, they've got an elite team the game after and it's not like the end to this hectic stretch is right after that.

So since I always saw this as a likely loss anyway, I'd be fine with sitting Duncan and Ginobili. Heck, I'd probably even sit Diaw too.

Manu hasn't missed a game this year, tbh. Kind of surprising. 25/25.

We arent allowed to sit our players.

Only Miami can sit their players.

They will probably force TP on court too or we will get fined.

Timmy and Manu won't play. Watch Beli erupt, tbh. I would give the dubs a healthy dose of Baynes. We're going need him with Bogut on the court.

I love that this is on TNT :lol

Neither him nor Manu should play tmrw. Added, Kawhi & Diaw should receive limited minutes tmrw (< 20 minutes), tbh.

gotta rest him imo. manu too, he's liable to get hurt getting out of the shower more so playing a back to back. (it is early in the season though and pop hasnt rested them on b2b's so far iirc)

HarlemHeat37

Kawhi should play 30+ IMO, he needs as many reps as possible with Parker out, tbh..

I agree with everybody, I'd rest Manu and Tim, especially considering Duncan has struggled against the Warriors lately, tough matchup for him..

Joseph( :( )
Green
Leonard
Diaw
Splitter

Beli
Mills
Ayres ( :( )
Baynes
Nando

Would be a fun rotation:lol..

Rest TD and give Baynes some floor time.

Not sure we can rest Manu. We already don't have Tony. We need some creativity out there.

I would start Duncan and Manu, concede the jump ball, foul right after and take them out. I would tatoo Pop's zitted face on my calves if he were to do that.

It would be so logical for Pop to give the night off to both Duncan and Ginobili. It's a b2b and the 7th game in 10 days without a lot of travels.

Now the question is will he have the cojones to do so? It's a nationally televised game and if he did it, it will certainly make some noise after last season $250K game. Pop could technically avoid the fine by saying hat have some kind of fake injury and by not flying them home.

If Pop rests Tim and Manu, the one to blame will be the NBA and its scheduler. After last season, you had to be incredibly stupid to put that kind of game on National TV unless you have an agreement with Spurs/Pop that he will play at full strength.

Entering the game, Duncan's career minutes (42,064) were 37 more than the 13 players on Phoenix's active roster combined. :wow give gramps a rest

And what a scheduling gaffe by the weak nba. A late, national tv home game against rested Golden State, with the Spurs coming off a road game the previous night.

Pop plays both Duncan and Manu 5 or 6 minutes in the first quarter and maybe just after halftime then sits them the rest of the game.

Restgate had the Spurs on a FOGAFINI while the Heat had four days off beforehand.

I don't want players resting any game. If you are healthy, then you should play. It's as simple as that. You build stamina on the court, you don't build it sitting on the bench.

I never liked Pop doing it and I never will. I'm not the coach though, so it's not my call.
