I've heard from numerous sources, who have knowledge of the situation, that the Spurs may face discplinary actions for resting its stars in tonight's TNT showcase. If anyone is unaware, last year the Spurs were fined an unprecendented $250,000 for resting its players in a similar situation (TNT Thursday night game in which they paid a ton of money to broadcast) -- so this within Stern's rights. Btw for those laughing, I'm a writer/reporter of one of the biggest towns in the US. I have a press pass and everything; accuratecy and integrity are two of most important principles.

When you're a reporter as long as I have been and have done multiple interviews and stories, you build up your contacts and have inside information. I take my journalism profession very seriously.
