Just read it on Spurs Nation.

TP is back. Kawhi is out. Leonard had a dental procedure today and Pop found out 20 minutes before he addressed the media for the game.

It may be a big night for Durant.

Spurs still can win!!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you're a bit late on this. Already posted over in the game thread.

Fuckin Leonard. Does everyone always have to be hurt on this team? A 22 year old man who plays 20 minutes a game. SMFH.

I'm thinking wisdom teeth removal but its odd that it wasn't done on an off-game night.

Having wisdom teeth removed is pretty serious, tbh. His mouth will be full of blood, so I can see why he could be out.

Yep, had mine removed just last month, wouldnt stop bleeding all that first day + the drugs to along time to fully wear off so I totally understand. It's just odd that it couldn't have been done on a better day

It could have been something else though but dental isnt usually emergency unless you get therm knocked out or something.

Having Wisdom Teeth out is pretty nasty. Especially if they're growing under your rear Molar's. Can be a bitch of a procedure and you're usually high on drugs to numb the pain for a day or two after and have blood and gauze pads all through your mouth. My first reaction though was CIA Pop giving the middle finger to Stern and making up some bullshit DNP excuse, funny if it was just a filling or some bullshit lol

I know, it is rough. Especially if they are impacted. I just don't understand why he didn't have it done during the off season. I was hoping to see him against Durant.

He might not even play during the Xmas game, in fact he may not even be back until next year. It takes a while to heal after surgery, you're supposed to avoid exercise for the first 72 hours, even after that you're supposed to avoid any strenuous activity for a while.

No no idea why he did it now, right when he's getting into a rhythm too.

It was obviously an involuntary situation.

Was this urgent? Did it need to be done now?

If not, I am very mad at Kawhi. Why the fuck do it now, before the biggest game of the season? That is a fucking joke.

An impacted/infected wisdom tooth is PAINFUL. It's like burning electric shocks shooting through your skull. It just sucks the life right out of you. NFW you can play basketball, especially NBA-level basketball, with that shit, trust me. Been there, done that.

Anyone claiming that not having Kawhi didn't contribute to this loss needs to fuck off.

all of my wisdom teeth were impacted and It was pretty painful when I have them removed. I was dead to the world on painkillers for 2 days after having them removed.

When I heard KL wasn't playing I didn't bother to even watch this game. I just went out with some friends knowing that it would not be good game to gauge where the spurs stand when it comes to competing with OKC.
