Birthday..take a ch-ch-ch-chance....it's my birthday today. Pretty lame birthday so far, went to pay the cable bill and get a haircut.
Nobody really knows it's my birthday anyway except a few people. And when I say a few I mean like 4.
But it's alright...I'm not really getting anything for my birthday, just an ipod(hopefully), that's about the only thing I want.
Anyway just thought I'd let you know. Later on I'm going to a party...what a world...I'm going to a party on my birthday but the party isn't even for me.

Damn...I'm sure even your daughter had a better birthday than I did. What a shitty birthday, I've learned now not to rely on my family or my parents for birthday gifts, neither one of them gave me anything. Not to mention nobody except for my mom knew it was birthday.

Man I feel horrible that I didnt to spend his birthday with him when hes my own bf It sucks after having my wreck I cant do shit... He wanted a ipod real bad so now its my journey to try to get him one no matter what... I can try....

Duff, I wouldn't stress too much about not getting gifts. You are in your early 20's now. After 18, anything you get should be considered a bonus -- don't expect much and then you won't get disappointed.
(Though LJ did throw me a surprise party and I did get gifts this year.)

Yeah, I can count on one hand the number of birthdays I actually got gifts. But I never had a shortage of kick ass birthdays thanks to my friends. I think I'm still hungover from #21.

BTW, If you expect to get gifts, you better be GIVING gifts. The same thing for friends to make your birthday special. You have to give in order to recieve.

I forgot some (see, I can't keep track :lol)
8/31 my brother, 9/4 my neice, 9/16 my youngest. Then in Nov. 11/13 my sister and 11/14 my parents' anniversary!
I just buy presents for my brother's kids and our parents, but that's it. My brother, sister and I don't exchange and I don't buy for my sisters' kids bday because she doesn't buy for mine.
It's lame cuz my brother's kids are teens. I just send them a check and he in return sends my kids one. It's like why bother?
