Is everyone pretty much on vacation still...

or are some of the players working out on their skill sets... (i.e. Tony on his jumpshot.... is he even in SA?)....

Anyways I was just wondering....

I heard somewhere that Tony was already working with Chip Engelland in Los Angeles.

Manu is still in Argentina I think and Tim is probably spending time with his new baby.

A few other players (Bowen, Nazr, Marks) were all expecting babies this summer, so it's probably still family time.

But I think any of the Spurs that live here locally use the practice facility regularly in the summer.

Thank you Kori....

I guess it's much too early yet...
Even as a fan I can't relish this championship without thinking of the next one.

The only place Tony will be in this summer is Eva

TP has been in LA recently to support Ronny during his surgery but he was in SA for Malik's Grand Opening.

What other Spurs players were at Malik's?

The only other one I saw was Devin Brown.

From what I hear, Devin also made an appearance. Would have loved to go myself, but I'm moving in 2 weeks so it just didn't work out. You can see pics from the Grand Opening at SC

Seeing how Sean Elliot put 3 million of his own into the place to help build it, he has a lifetime pass into the place.

His thumb is on record for life.

Actually it's not. Last season I was waiting in the lobby and so was he. I asked him why he didn't go in and I said for sure his thumb would work. He tried it - it didn't. We laughed.

I know Jeff Foster was in San Marcos last week. Our incoming sports editor was waiting tables in the section next to him @ Joe's Crab Shack.

He set up an interview with Jeff - something our slack-ass old sports editor couldn't do.

He was probably visiting his old alum.

SWT... Texas State.

WTF? Really, it's not? Or was it just not accepting his thumb print that day.

How could he not have his thumb in the file?

Uh, yeah.

Anyway, that slack-ass old sports editor filled my head with a bunch of shit. He claims that Foster never acknowledges State and that he only went there because he had a scholarship.

Apparently, he really wanted to go to A & M.

Like I said, take that with a grain of salt, but I know that our new sports editor said that Jeff was really cool and just said for us to call him whenever we want to schedule an interview.

Spurs need to get that guy to help punch it in from in close, since Rasho doesn't seem inclined to do it. :)

Or at least give him some better tickets. A couple times this year he was sitting in the row behind me. I have pretty good tickets but not Priest Holmes level tickets.

He didn't exactly pay for it. He just deferred payment of money owed to him by the Spurs so that they could build it then. (right?) Still awesome though.

WOW... Priest Holmes is a Spurs fan????

IDNKT ('I did not know that' ---- seems like everyone is writing in code now a days)

I have a Holmes autograph from when he used to play in Baltimore... now I'll move it over to my Spurs memorabilia section....

My guess would be because, technically, he's now a media member, and their access is limited. Oh, and it's not like he donated that money. It was a loan, and it was paid back.
