If Rodgers starts I bet you $250 the Packers win.

rodgers is starting, but no thank you, i've got my allocated gambling funds tied in a season-long pool

Don't kid yourself, you wouldn't take that bet regardless. Rodgers is 9-2 vs the Bears and Cutler's TD/INT ratio is dogshit against GB, despite the horrific defenses the Pack has fielded

you're right. i wouldn't bet 250 on a single game regardless. i've never even done that for the superbowl, let alone a week 17 division game. but to show that i have faith in that pick, once all my weekly picks for my pool are set in stone, i'll send in a screenshot showing i took the bears even ATS minus the points

:lol An 8 win regular season team hoisting up the Lombardi Trophy would be pretty funny tbh

Great news, but you have to assume he's going to be rusty, and the Packers' defense is depleted by injuries, tbh..

Bears have a good chance of winning this game, although its hard to trust Cutler, Tresman and their defense..

If the bears want to win they have to start McCown. McCown runs Tresman's system better imo.

I don't really lack faith in Trestman. Guy has proven himself a couple of times in the NFL. I was skeptical of him landing a HC gig right away, but he's done pretty well considering how drastic their defensive collapse has been.

So is it destiny for Rodgers to go to Seattle and win as revenge for the replacement refs hail mary fiasco last season?

I thought the same but their defense is very sub par under Trestman.....he needs to improve that in the next few years.

i think the departure of Urlacher and his backup Roach hurts, as well as the injury to Peanut Tillman. I believe both of their starting defensive tackles are out as well. Combine that with natural decline of a lot of their older defensive players that had been mainstays for a while. It's not like he runs the defense anyway.

Yeah it seemed to me that their D was OK earlier in the season, then I looked up last week and they were bottom of the league in a couple of major categories. I guess injuries can fuck things up for a first year HC.

The thing I like about Trestman is that he was prepared for the inevitable Cutler injury and survived through it. If he wins on Sunday against the Packers and gets them into the POs it will be huge for the Bears. Lovie could never lake it past the Cutler injuries...but what's weird is that Trestman might do better just sticking with McCown.

Either way, overall Trestman has impressed me.

Topped off with a game-clinching INT off a Golden Taint juggled reception.

Good win by the Packers today. Aaron Rodgers must be quite gay...er, I mean really happy right now.
