Tough news for Chimpbrook. I'm sure he'll be fine in long run, he'll just have to adjust his game before he gets a situation as bad as Derrick Rose. It's possible he rushed his recovery with PEDs per the par and made the situation worse.

People will talk about Karma, but Laker fans have been talking more shit than anyone and getting the better end of every shady deal so not sure they want to talk about Karma. If a sociopath is the face of the franchise, that can't end well.

Talking shit and taking joy in injury are two different things.
And remember it's you blokes that preach "class".
Spurs are classy Tim such an unselfish superstar yet many cowards on here just want to win and enjoy easy paths to the Finals ...and revel in teh injury of opponents.

No I mean in the playoffs. Whenever the Lakers, Spurs, or even the Mavs won a title they had to face 1 or 2 serious threats. Aside from Dallas that beat them and arguably the Pacers of last year, they still havent faced a legitimately scary team. Spurs logically shouldnt have been more than a 5 game series and they still struggled. Last year was a dream come true for the Heat, the entire league lost its star player except the Spurs and they still barely won

This is true. Without Ray's jumper (and bosh rebound) the hole NBA landscape is changed.
People thought I was being a prick posting that article but there is not a single shot that has impacted NBA history more than Ray allen's "bang".
He got Wade "3", Lebron and himself "2" ...and Denied Duncan of "5"
Those are 3 of the greatest players of the past 20 years and Ray is not that far behind Wade ... and Ray's jumper changed the storyline for everyone.

you can't compare classiness of Spurs to this website, which is like a warped version of Spurs fans. other websites like PtR aren't like this, it's just the nature of this site, so I wouldn't assign karma based on SpursTalk when it's a small representation of a bigger picture.

I personally don't wish injury on any player, I wouldn't want it happening to any team or player I liked. This could help out Spurs though, I won't lie, but it's not our fault for it happening if you want to talk karma. like I said, Lakers been inflated by lots of shadiness with a sociopath as their leader, how is that kosher?

He was destined to be healthy, he hardly missed any games his entire basketball career ( college through NBA, till Beverley injury), Beverley is the reason this knee issue flared up, tbh. Westbrook is a freak compared to those guys, even Baron.

Yeah he did have great track record health wise before the injury but I have never seen a PG with his great athletic ability have an injury free career. It would have happened sooner or later. I remember Kevin Johnson who was a super freak having knee problems towards his late 20's and early 30s. If you look at it the PG's who have great longevity tend not to be super athletes. Nash,Stockton,Kidd, and even Payton were not super athletic but lasted a long time.

funny you say that, I was smoking the other day and started theorizing how Pop = Lucas. Perhaps it's because I have massive respect for what both have built, but damn if Lucas' Han Shooting First or Jar Jar isn't similar to Pop pulling Duncan with 28 seconds. Just a crazy decision that is a blight on an otherwise incredible career, decisions that I will never understand for the life of me. Reading Presti's comments screams deflection with the subtlety of a baboon. Anybody with a decent medical background knows "The area of concern is now making itself apparent" is a bullshit way of saying we didn't know it was inflamed before which is why we kept playing him and brought him back this early. Its all to cover his ass. There are countless plays or injuries you could pin on other players if you were to use this logic. Meth getting to their heads, and to yours too it seems.

Joy in a player's injury is the kind of karma that leads to ...

Bosh over to Ray ... bang!

You've said this before and this time I gotta step in. Lakers fans also talk a lot of shit, so it's not like it's something that only Spurs fans do. Lakers fans are twice as arrogant at times, so that really rubs fans of other teams the wrong way, and that is probably one reason they talk so much shit about the Lakers.

I tried not to say anything about Kobe's injury. I also did try and tell Spurs fans to not talk shit about it, as it sucks for all time greats or any star player to get injured, but no-one is going to listen to anyone on this message board anyway.

Point is, both teams fans do it. It's not like one team's fans are better than the other when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Guilty of doing this with Rose since he's ignorance disguised as being humble. Maybe the Kobe achilles tear was karma for me shit-talking Gangbanger Rose and even starting threads about it.

With Westbrook I'm quiet because tbh I enjoy watching him play more than Acne, and he's a Bruin which name is not Matt Barnes.

Good lord you are a fucking retard. Take that Gohan SS2 Avi out, its above you.
Deflect away from the point at hand, troll. Since you want to talk about avatars, it's hilarious that a "Rockets" fan has a an avi of Dirk, no? Well I guess not, you gotta salivate over something seeing as how mediocre & irrelevant the Rockets have been since Olajuwon.

You're right, RW would never have gotten injured playing the way he does:rolleyes.
Well he hadn't, playing the way he did all the way through college to his pro career. He was a damn Ironman.

That play was also completely different than the one RW made at Lin since Bev was obviously looking to hurt him when he went for the steal. :rolleyes
Yes the undercut, says it all. Westbrook adjusted his body so paper Lin wouldn't get hurt, Beverly again, did not.

I'm not defending Presti, their is no doubt that he did not handle this injury right to begin with, he brought him back too soon, yes. However, their would be no concern of restricting him to begin with if not for some fucking scrub, who's only known outside of Houston for undercutting a young super star. How you can deny this is beyond logic; you're the fucking retard, clown!

funny you say that, I was smoking the other day and started theorizing how Pop = Lucas. I just hope Pop can redeem that shit for sake of Spurs and himself.

Great analogy but Pop was justified taking him out where he fucked up was not bringing him back in. Pop took him out to bmatchup when they sat Bosh a few possessions prior but he left Tim out when Bosh came back in ...

I despise any fans including Lakers ones that do DAT shit ...but I don't truly believe in karma to me its just "low class"

Very true. Both fanbases are mostly fat beaners, so you can't expect much different.

Yea he is nigga. Better than the rapist too.

No one's arguing that Harden is not better than a 35 year old player coming off an achilles injury and that is out right now with a knee injury. That is obvious.

But we all know Harden can't see an healthy Kobe, as we saw last season and at 24 Kobe was already better than Harden in every facet of the game, except at getting bitch calls from the refs, Harden's specialty.

If RW doesn't come back 100% and remains healthy this is gonna be a HUGE problem for OKC.
RW is under contract for 3 more seasons after this one, and making around $17M each.
OKC front office is probably having a bad day.

Vs.

If Kobe doesn't come back 100% and remains healthy this is going to be a HUGE problem for LA.
Kobe is under contract for 3 more seasons including this one, and making around $27M each.
LA front office is probably having a bad day. ha, ha.

Its obvious that I pinched a nerve because you couldn't handle the truth. Dirk is a beast, and I'm sorry you are too insecure to see that. Go root for the thunder, the spurs are my 2nd fav team and I'm pretty sure even then I'm a bigger fan of them than you are.

Also keep sticking with your "undercut" bullshit, you sound like the resident retard that everybody remembers swinging on the monkey bars and chewing mulch during recess.

Where did I question Dirk's greatness?

Go root for the thunder, the spurs are my 2nd fav team and I'm pretty sure even then I'm a bigger fan of them than you are.
I'm not a fan of the Thunder, why would I root for them? You're the dumbass homer who can't see that Beverley's play was dirty, & because I'm simply calling him out on that makes me a fan of the Thunder, & not much of a Spurs fan? Nice logic.

Also keep sticking with your "undercut" bullshit, you sound like the resident retard that everybody remembers swinging on the monkey bars and chewing mulch during recess.
Yes, I'll keep sticking with the truth, while you can keep being the ad hominem guy, who brings absolutely nothing to the discussion other than an inferiority complex.

Then I realized what you were saying and now know you aren't smoking anything better than what I'm smoking.
