Who can beat the Spurs in the West? Westbrick is probably done and OKC has gotten shittier ever since Lebron beat their ass in 2012. Fake ass Clippers will be going out in the 1st round. The Blazers seem like a good story this season but they haven't won shit in forever. The Warriors will be beaten by Curry's shot selection and Mark Jackson's stupidity. The Rockets? Lulz, you really think a team with Dwight Howard is going to do anything in the playoffs? I made a thread earlier this season about this same thing but I just don't see anyone beating them out of the West. If Duncan, Parker, Manu, Green, Leonard, Neal, and Bonner stay healthy, the Spurs are going to win the Silver Ball this year. I can't read minds but I really think the Spurs are still pissed over being a free throw away from number 5 and they are on a mission for redemption. Be honest, who the hell in the Western Conference can beat the Spurs in a best of 7 series in the playoffs?

That's a big ask.
Portland could make it through tbh.

Spurs keep playing the way they have been I can see the Thunder, Frail Blazers, Clippers, or Rockets beating them. Still December tho.

The Spurs could only compete with Miami because Tim Duncan was defying father time and had a fairly easy route during the playoffs while Miami had to go 7 games with the Pacers.
The path will be harder, Tim Duncan & co are older and Kawhi Leonard is not an all-star level player who can pick up the slack. The stars aligned last time - the galaxies will need to align this time.

you missed out them mavs, my nigga! We would've also been top4 in the west now if we hadn't flunked that many easy games against shitty teams tbh, and we will have the edge over Spurs in the playoffs inferring from the past matchup records between these two teams

I know, Dale. Not even Ray Allen's backpedal behind the 3pt line and 6 could unclench your balloon knot immediately. It was a surreal experience for you, living in a fabricated life of 5-5 for a moment until it had shattered and you floated down to reality to see the shitbag missing a game tying layup.

^Fuck, I was resigned to 5-5 Duncan over the tired old shit bag Kobe. I was going to have to come in here and take the shit sandwich.
I don't believe I can go thru that again. I need an easy one come April thru June.

Is OP trolling by saving silver ball? Its the second place trophy, is he trying to remind the spur fans on this site about last year tbh?

Are you saying you're picking the Suns to win the West?

No trolling. The Spurs failed to prove to me that they could beat the Heat last year in the Finals so I am only confident that they can win the Western Conference. That's why I feel pretty confident that they will win the Silver Ball. I would say I'm 90 percent sure. OKC ain't winning shit. They probably won't even win their division. The Clippers are pretenders. The Warriors are fun to watch during the regular season on TNT but that's about it. My Mavs suck ass on defense and can't win solely on offense. The Rockets won't do anything because Dwight Howard is a cancerous pussy. The Spurs seem like they are on a mission to redeem their choke job in game 6 in the Finals.

This current Spurs team looks like a WCF exit team with Parker hero balling and Leonard, Splitter, and Green looking worse than last year.

We'll get big daddy Tyson back in Dallas (shipping Marion's expiring contract and some fillers to NY Knicks, who're set to start rebuilding) and our defense will be back to the 11' level. We still need a solid scoring option off the bench and I believe Devin will fill that role when he comes back.
