Miami is still the team to beat if fully healthy, LeBron/Bosh are both at their peak, Wade still near peak.

Bosh doesn't have to try most of the times when Lebron is there, but he wanted to make a statement to LA tonight, simply destroyed him the same way Hakeem destroyed DRob.

I would not compare any of them to D ROB or Hakeem but he did kick their ass tonight. He hit his outside shots. Miami is still the team to beat we all know that, until they are knocked off that is.

And people say Lebron has to carry the Miami "Cavaliers" :lmao Chris Bosh would still be a 20 and 10 big on any other team.

But whatevs, he'll win another MVP despite having the best SG and a top 5 PF in the game.

But that's not what the award is about. Steve Nash wasn't the best player in the league when he won 2. Neither was D.Rose.

I guess the award has lost it's power, you might as well give Lebron the next 3-4 because no one's going to get on his level

The problem is how do you give a most valuable player award to another guy when a player in the league is having years that could amount to GOAT at his position/ever possibly depending on how the next 4-5 years go?

Please, point out where I said that.

My point is that the Heat are stacked. They just beat Portland on their home floor on a b2b. Chris Bosh dominated that team and hit the game-winner.

I just merely made fun of the "Miami Cavaliers" thing that the Lebron stans have been spewing since the 2013 playoffs. No doubt Lebron is the best player in the game, but it's not like there's much competition to that #1 spot either.

Carry on.

Lebron won a title last year with his 2nd option averaging 16 PPG and becoming one of 4 players in history to win a title while leading his team in PPG, RPG, APG and one of SPG/BPG(just for good measure:lol)..

There are countless examples of undermanned teams beating good teams in a 1-game sample size, like the Spurs-Warriors last week, for instance..

Lebron isn't going to leapfrog MJ, but he'll get to that Magic/Kareem tier. Top 5 most likely.

But it makes the award worthless. There's no one else in the league even close to Lebron. It's like Floyd Mayweather in boxing, no one's good enough to beat him.

There are no Larry Birds or Magics in today's league, the 2nd best player might end up in the top 30 one day.

He's averaging 20 5 5 on 54% shooting with 2 stls per game and his TS% is at his career high.

Name me better players.
Harden? He's averaging 24 ppg on 44,5% shooting and 30% from 3. Aside from the massive amount of FTs he gets per game, he's average.

cmon dude. Harden hasn't been nearly as good as he was last year. I know you a Rockets fan and everything, but it's funny that his efficiency has gone down when they just added Dwight Howard to their roster. His 3PT shot has been off, 6 attempts per game at a 30,7% clip?

Wade has been efficient and all-around a better player than Harden. You can't tell me that Harden is even comparable to Wade on D.

Wade is better on D, Harden has improved there. Wade is broken down and can't even play without taking cortisone shots. Right now Harden's overall FG% has actually gone up, he chucks threes because there is no system (Iso ball for everyone), McHale gives him the green light when he needs to reign him in sometimes. Also factor this in, the Rockets are playing with a very weak bench. No Beverley, No Asik, no Smith, No reliable backup for Harden, (Garcia is spotty) Meaning he will have to play 40 a night, along with Parsons and Dwight. He's playing on a high ankle sprain, which is when he looks to really draw free throws. Put last year's Wade on the Rockets. Do they make the playoffs last year?

If healthy, I think so. Rockets were only 1 game away from missing the PO's anyways, they barely even made it. Wade was balling during that 27 game win streak, he averaged 23 6 6 on 54% shooting with 2.4 steals in those 27 games. A healthy Wade is the best SG in the league, bar none. You have to factor in the defense. And Wade also has the skillset of a point guard, so I think he would have gotten Chandler and Lin more buckets.

Wade might have his knee issues, but he can still put up 30 when needed.
