The softest big man in the league not including Splitter. Oklahoma is ashamed this ginger faggot once called this great state his home. He's right at home where he belongs at the moment. He should stay there.

Funny his own teammate called him soft recently in Billups and he has been on a title team and said basically he is soft......... He doesn't get hated on, he is soft at times and does not expand his game to become a dominant player outside of his athleticism and dunks. He can be very good yes no doubt, but he is not yet and most see that who watch the NBA. In some series he shrinks.......... Bigtime.

If the Spurs had him they would not have made it to that game 7 ballgame faggot...... They would have been our in round two. Dumbass. How did he do against SA in 012 in the SWEEP? I am guessing not to well. Stop comparing him to the great ONE MAVS FAN! :hat

Raven

his game is miles away from where it was last year, still has a lot of work on his D, but he's close to being the second best pf in the league already.

TDfan2007
12-29-2013, 01:30 PM
Griffin is a very underrated passer, an improved rebounder and outside shooter, and he's also improved his low post footwork. He's got a solid turnaround bankshot on the left block, and a nice dropstep move on the right block. He's also very good at taking advantage of his pivot foot. No hate here.

If Blake just improves help and post D, then he'll be a top 5 player in this league.

Before it was easy to gameplan against Blake because he couldn't shoot and didn't have a post game. He has improved on both of those flaws significantly.

What I don't get is how Blake is hated on relentlessly by the media, but Kevin Love is never scrutinized at all despite never even making the playoffs, blatantly padding his stats, not trying on defense, and hinting at wanting out of Minny, tbh.... Love's been given arguably the biggest pass of any star player in recent memory, imho....

Dude's still hesitant to attempt jumper even when he's wide open. His game is built on a monkey's athleticism and when that athleticism is sapped down due to age or injury, nigga's would be nothing more than a Nick Collison imho.

This is stupid. A player is a culmination of all his exploits. You cannot remove one and reassess the player.

Griffin can be defended very easily. He gets punked easily by thugs (ZBo, MGasol) for some reason.

He's actually improving his game so even if he loses his athleticsm, he can mold into a Karl Malone type of a player.

Lebron went through all that too. Blake is the whiter version of a poor man's Lebron, with the freakish hops, passing ability and actually working on his game in the off season. He cannot play point forward though, something that darker freak can do (I think Lebron can play any position including wide receiver).

excellent take. monkeyball has a lot of similarities with the younger lebron (the one playing in Cleveland), good dribbling for their size & mediocre shooting range. the current Lebron is a complete basketball player and absolutely the best with no close runner up, but the younger Lebron and monkeyball were so much alike that if I remember correct, I first invoked the term "n!ggerball" for Lebron during the 2011 finals, and the term "monkeyball" was derived from "n!ggerball" by my nigga DoK imho.

Griffin puts up some numbers
Chris Paul (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/2779/chris-paul) scored a game-high 34 points and Blake Griffin (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3989/blake-griffin) added 20 points, 19 rebounds and seven assists as the Clippers won in San Antonio to knot their first-round series against the Spurs at two wins each. Griffin is the first NBA player to record a 20/19/7 game (points, rebounds and assists) in the playoffs since LeBron James (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/1966/lebron-james) did it during his first stint with the Cavaliers, almost five years ago (in a loss at Boston during the second round of the 2010 playoffs). The only other active NBA players who have done that in a playoff game are Tim Duncan (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/215/tim-duncan) (twice) and Kevin Garnett (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/261/kevin-garnett) (twice).
