Damn. Now, it's bloatware??? That sucks. I deleted the app off my phone. It's a total battery drainer. I just use the browser for it. No biggie.

The Galaxy S4 comes with Flipboard pre-installed
A special verson of Flipboard for the S4 (Note 3 must have the same), compatible with the sensor, so when you open the app, you can hover over one of the news feeds, and more titles will magically pop out

My supposed 16 GB S4 comes with like 8 GB available. Fucking bloatware.

I know :cry
Rooting will help for sure; I havent rooted yet lol
But I'm getting a 64 gb SD card
Still probably gonna root anyway (but remain stock), battery is better without the bloat from what I've read

Yeah, I've been too lazy to look into rooting. I'm sure the battery is much better w/o all this crap constantly running it's processes in the background.

Unfortunately, most of that missing space for the S4 isn't even bloatware, it's the retarded way Samsung partitioned off the drive. Even rooted, you have only like 9.7 GB free. Doesn't matter if you have a sd card, but dumb nonetheless.

Reserved 'system' files. Apparently the Chinese version of the S4 can have the partition table resized to 11.1GB free. No luck for other version. Maybe stupid shit like this is why they fell short of sales expectations for the phone (even they still sold over 40 million).

Even my Galaxy S2 had about 12 GB free. Pretty ridiculous.

Sounds like a nightmare.
The iPhone already comes with plenty of useless shit I absoutely hate. I'd be pissed if I had to deal with something you cant delete ala the "Newstand" on the iPhone. Ugh
