An injured Chiefs team would be easy win for New England though.

KC was never overrated. No one but the fans thought they could do anything. I said they would win 10 this year and everyone laughed. They ended up with 11. They didn't go as far as I thought they would but not bad for a team that went 2-14 last year. Their D never recovered after that first Broncos game. But I'm calling it now, another 11 wins next year.

Yeah, regardless of who they played, to go from 2 wins last year to this is pretty f'ing impressive. They didn't have the type of team built for a Super Bowl run this season but next year, the league should be nervous about the Chiefs.

i see your hate is strong and well.

Can't blame this on Alex other than that fumble. He outplayed Luck and was the only Chief keeping them in it. ultimately their injuries were too much, even Luck was throwing the game away until those injuries gave them a second chance.

I didn't see any of it. I was watching Leo bang a dozen women in the movie theater.

According to ESPN Stats & Information, the Colts had just a 3.6 percent chance of winning the game when they trailed 31-10 at halftime. That dropped to 0.9 percent when the Chiefs took a 38-10 lead with 13:39 left in the third quarter.

and for the record, I legitimately feel bad for Alex Smith...he played the best game of his career and even the last pass was almost perfect placement. The overthrow to Cyrus Gray and the IG on the last possession ultimately came back to haunt him, but dude lost ALL his weapons except Bowe, and Reid and the defense was a disaster. He was money on 3rd down and made some great plays today though. The offense started looking real good at the end of the year, so Smith deserves to keep his job.

Every team Andy Reid coaches, he is basically their O-Coordinator and they lost because of their D/injuries. I mean they scored 44 points with Alex Smith at QB and Jamaal Charles out after 6 plays people...should be blowing him right now

no disrespect to Kansas City folks, but the Chiefs were never a legit threat from the start. there is a reason why no one gave them any respect this season. it's nothing personal ... they just have never done anything to prove worthy of that type of respect.

That's a gross exaggeration to say the Chief was no threat. Ask Luck. Luck got intercepted 3 times. Jamaal Charles would've made something happen without a doubt. If they would've won, they wouldn't be a threat with all those injuries they've sustained.

It's all well and good. They just need to draft a quarterback next season along with a tackle to replace Albert. They got really unlucky.

I think everyone (Well, I did at least) thought that Alex Smith would implode ALA Andy Dalton, once Charles went down. But to his credit he held up his end of the bargain 90% of the way, he just couldn't seal the deal. On the road, in the playoffs, looking to seal a game winning drive is hard enough in itself even IF Charles was on the field. So, some bad "Luck" was sprinkled in there. Dare I say, divine intervention once they lost their replacement running back to boot. Geez. So, I can't be so hard on the Chiefs because of how this all turned out.

But, this was a pretty big fucking choke.

Alot of this loss was on Reid's play-calling in the 2nd half. Should have tried to run the ball mostly instead of having 27 pass attempts in the second half despite having a four touchdown lead.

Does he get credit for any of the 44 points they scored? I mean any of them? Like maybe credit him for at least a field goal out of the 44 fucking points they scored without their best player
