Good now Baynes can play. Dude is worthless. I don't know how many times tonight he went up like a hoe. Spud Webb was 5'7" and went up harder than Splitter.

Sprained shoulder will prolly result in him missing 2-3 weeks imo. It's his shooting shoulder though so who knows.

If Diaw is still sick on Tuesday, Thomas could get some run time in Memphis.

Tiago has a history of taking a long ass time to recover from injuries, IIRC... as long as he suits up post ASG, we'll be fine, IMO...

Let's hope it's a minor Grade 1. If that's the case, it's an easy 2 weeks...provided he has his full range of motion and strength.

their knees collided and shoulders hit hard

Tiago is not a flopper. IF he hits the floor then he is hurt. The way he played Sat. till he got hurt
looks like he could be the best #2 To Duncan since David Robinson. Tiago's game is getting
better to make him a very good defense player and a good scorer around the paint. His passing
is improved as he knows the players now. He is worth every penny we paid in his last contract.

He was actually playing well last night IMO. What a crappy injury.

Should he be out that long though? No way did I think he'd be out that long after seeing it on the replay.

What do you think, Man In Black?

The BEST thing that could happen to SA is if Westbrook plays hero and comes back early AGAIN. That's what got him into this current situation. He was supposed to be out until almost Christmas, and missed only two games at the beginning of the season, only to come up with more problems now. If it happens again, he could easily miss the playoffs. I hope for his sake that he's smarter than that, but I haven't seen many indications of patience, maturity, or wisdom on his part, so probably not so much.

He's a chest thumping monkeyballer that relies on quick bursts and sharp stops both of which are extremely taxing on knees. His ego won't let him sit out long enough to heal completely and this will directly impact his career performance. I'd posit that he'll never learn other fundamental skills (defense, passing) to offset his (soon to be) declining athleticism and in just a few years, he'll fade back into the 2nd and 3rd tier of pgs in the league.

The blame is as much on the medical and coaching staff at OKC for letting him push too hard as it is on him for trying to play as soon as he can walk.

(https://twitter.com/JMcDonald_SAEN)Tiago Splitter (shoulder) progressing toward day-to-day in recovery. Status for Saturday vs Kings TBD at morning shootaround.

One issue impacting Splitter's return is lack of practice time. Spurs did not work out on Thursday or Friday.

It'll probably be after ASG when Splitter gets normal minutes considering how big of a vagina the guy is and who knows how long it will take for him to get back in rhythm

I wouldn't expect him to have any kind of defensive proficiency when he returns, it'll take him a few weeks to get back into the swing of things.
