Can never give enough love for TD. Pop and Parker's egos weren't enough tonight for the GOAT PF.

Timmy put the team on his back and just wouldn't let them loose tonight. Vintage Tim Duncan tonight.

Dominant performance from Timmy tonight. He already had a 20-20 game this season. Almost had another tonight.

37 year old Duncan >>>>>> 32 year old Randolph

Randolph had one good series against us in 2011 when our frontcourt was basically a hobbled TD(ankle sprains) and old as fuck Dice. He's been garbage against SA ever since.

17 straight years of this dude carrying this team. 37 years-old and he's still the one we're relying on to make plays down the stretch.

On a side note: sucks this happened tonight. I'm going to my first game of the season tomorrow and after this debacle, I wouldn't be surprised if Duncan/Manu sit out, especially considering Manu looked like he tweaked his hammy on that last shot. I'm going to school up at the U of A and don't get many chances to see the Spurs. Was hoping I'd be able to see Tim in action.

I don't think anyone should discredit Randolph because "Duncan was hobbled and Dice was slow". ZBo was just unfucking stoppable and deserves the upmost respect for it. In 2011 he also averaged 23&12 against the young athletic duo of Ibaka/Perkins (Back when Perkins wasn't completely useless.) Randolph just owned the Spurs in every possible way that year and deserves credit for that.

However, since then Spurs bigs (Most notably Duncan and Splitter) seem to play extra rough against him. He's also older and slower now, add those factors together and it equals pure Spurs ownage.

Thought this was a sarcastically-titled thread for Ayres. Glad it wasn't because clearly we don't have to talk about how much Ayres stinks
