When you thought this overrated piece of crap would learn from his mistakes (Oops I'm sorry he doesn't make mistakes, he blames the players) last year by taking Duncan out on the last 2 plays of Game 6 to protect the rim and secure a rebound... He's made the same mistake 2 or 3 times this season already.

From running Zone against the Warriors, to giving Ayres minutes, and blaming the Knicks loss on the players calling it "embarrassing"... Enough is enough.

If reporters even question his decisions he just rudely cuts them off like an alcoholic would.

Homers don't even mention Splitter not playing as an excuse... Memphis didn't have Marc Gasol

SPURS WERE ROADKILL UNTIL DUNCAN HAD A RESURGENCE, Pop - Duncan = Jason Kidd

Pop is a great coach but makes mistakes like even the great ones do.
Phil was not flawless.
And lately Bill Belicheck(?) has not been the sharpest tool in the shed either.
I watched Pop coach for 3 straight years for 100 plus games when I lived in SA (2005-2008)
He is a amazing coach. Sure Duncan butters his bread but you can see how great he is when he rests the big 3 yet they compete almost ever night ...

:pop: that's not how we do things around here.

still though, for all of pop's late game blunders reguarding duncan, i still wouldn't trade him for any coach in the world.

Tim was in there near the end, he didn't get the offensive rebound and they tied the game.

Tim played well, but the entire team took the 4th quarter off. Marco went full blown pussy mode.

I like how he also throws his gameplan at the sight of an overtime and rides Gimpnobili to the ground
