What the hell is it? So my new GF asks me if I'd like a BLT sammich for lunch and like any non-pussified man who still eats bacon I say oh yeah. My taste buds are ready and she brings out a nice plate with chips and pickles and I go for it with a big bite and right away I know something is up with the bacon. It just ain't right. I look at her with my "wtf" face and she says "turkey bacon". Oh hell no. Give me real artery clogging delicious pork bacon. Is there any other kind!?
I didn't finish the sammich and told her I am old school and eat real man food and am not on some pussified diet. She smiled and headed to the fridge, took out the thick bacon and got to cooking. She jumped up several spots on the "she's a keeper" scale.

The only way to have Turkey bacon taste good is to microwave it crisp. It cooks it crisp and it taste pretty good. Not
as good as the real thing but if your on a restrictive diet this and egg beaters for breakfast is a lot better than oatmeal.
