A caprese salad with the addition of the asparagus. Looks yummy but I could do without the asparagus. It does just fine without it

I'm not big on Caprese salad. The wife gets that when we go to Grimaldi's. It's usually that and we'll split a carafe. I go for pizza though because I'm a guy.

Get a bunch of those real skinny ones, about the size of a pencil. Roll them around in egg white. Season some bread crumbs however you like and grate in some fresh parmesan. Toss the asparagus in the crumbs then into a sauté pan with a little olive oil. Delicious! The asparagus never even make it to the dinner plate because me and my kids stand around the stove eating them right out of the pan :)

If I'm getting a sandwich in LA it's gotta be Canters' Pastrami. Agree on the pickles and cream soda though.

Canter's has excellent food…Perhaps the best Westside Deli…
Langer’s is one of my favorites because I can take the subway from the SFV practically to their front door and avoid traffic…

That sucks. It has been a few years since I went, but the Fairfax location was always great (except the shitty bakery; that has always been horrible). LOL the Las Vegas one is garbage. Meanwhile Carnegie Deli in Vegas is great.
