I wear Beautiful ~ Estee Lauder.

It's been around for a while, but nothing else feels *right* when I wear it. :)

I love Beautiful. I also LOVE Dolce and Gabanna's new, Suede Blue (or something Blue...can't recall). I use Ralph Lauren Romance or occasionally Clinque Happy.

I can't barely handle perfume.
They all make my eyes water/itch... and htey don;t smell like "people".
Also - I think 90% of folks wear that stuff too thick.. and then i get in an elevator with them. :vomit

Occasionaly I'll spalsh some on.. but it's usully like 1 squirt on my dress or shirt....
I own:
So - by Oscar De La Renta
Truth
Adidas for Women

BTW: anyone know if perfumes have a shelf life?? Cause I've had that Oscar De La Renta scent for going on 6 years.

ummm....maybe that's why you're eyes are watery and itchy! :lol

Seriously, I don't think 6 years is too long of a shelf life for perfume, I don't think there really is a shelf life, I think the unspoken belief may be around 10 years.

I don't think the shelf life of perfume is longer than a year.

Let me go look it up.

One woman had me whipped a while back with Light Blue Dolce Gabbana.

Damn, I was close...Suede Blue, Light Blue, all the same.

Seriously though, girls, you have to smell this perfume. It's the nicest smelling perfume. It just came out last Christmas I believe.

Industry experts say 6 to 18 months is the usual shelf-life of a perfume, depending on the components and their quality.

Perfume and fragrances

1 year

Even if you use them once a week and keep them in a cool, dark place, the scent or fragrance will only stay intact for a year. To keep the fragrance from changing before the toss date, keep the perfume inside its own original box in a cool, dark place.

A couple other places said sprays sometimes are good for up to 3 years.

Crap. I have a bottle of Cool Water from like 2 years ago and I've only used like 1/3 of it. It still smells exactly the same.

I think that the knock-off is, no matter what scent it started out to be...the minute you spray it and you think of really old ladies it's time to throw it out. :)

I can't wear perfumes, it makes me really sick :( everytime my bestfriend gets in the car with me I have to roll the windows down otherwise I get a headache, dry throat, and break into a cold sweat. She always has to smell good and puts on all the good stuff. That goes for anyone. I literally have to run through the perfume counters at the mall holding my breath. It sucks. The only things I can tolerate are real light scents or the Bath & Body sprays.
