Over the past couple of years our good friend Avante has defied all logic by being the worst documented internet gambler in history. Some of your teams have suffered because of his picks--even your fantasy teams. He killed Megatron, he killed the 12th man, and he killed Detroit and Dallas' playoff chances.
Furthermore, he's thrown his own flesh and blood under the bus to save face--which brings us to the ultimate question: How does the Eddie Mush of the internet get so blessed with an NFL franchise such as the San Francisco 49ers? An organization with 5 Super Bowls, the greatest QB who ever lived, and also the greatest WR. How has his team managed to buck the trend against his picks?
We know Avante is older than dirt, which means he saw the 49ers back when they were a perennial doormat for every team they played--so what changed?
I'll tell you what fucking changed--he went to the proverbial crossroads and sold his soul to the devil so the 49ers could win.
Fast forward to 1981-82: Bill Walsh and Joe Montana arrive on-scene...down 27-21 to the team that ALWAYS beat them, Montana drives them down the field and throws the iconic touchdown to Dwight Clark. 49ers win the NFCCG and go on to win their first ever SB--the first of 4 in the decade.

But what else arrived in San Francisco in 1981-82?

As Avante watched his friends die off with each passing SB victory he became bitter and recluse and fell into a crippling gambling addiction. Fast-forward to 2013: His friends are dead, family alienated, but the 49ers are still winning. The deal with the devil is still intact.
