not sure if this was posted (i searched) but Bexar county approved $6M in upgrades for the AT&T Center including Wi-Fi for the entire stadium, new/upgraded restaurants, and FINALLY a new scoreboard!

I always find it ironic that my AT&T service blows donkeys for quarters at the AT&T Center.

A new scoreboard will be nice.

A scoreboard similar to the Nuggets one would be great:

^ I agree. I remember if you sit in the corners, sometimes it's a bit difficult to see the screens. Flatscreens look great

As a fan who attended every viewing party in last year's finals, I'd say a bigger scoreboard is a must.

Good for SA. Definitely got the Kia model when comparing ATT to other newer arenas like Toyota Center.

Wut? I love the AT&T Center. Top notch for early 2000s arenas imho.

The screens are nice, but do these not show individual player stats? That would bother me, tbh.

Can we please get rid of that cheesy ass rodeo cowboy in lights or whatever? Please?

Good call, but considering the rodeo still comes to town once a year...I doubt it.

:lol I've always thought the same thing. I usually follow the box score with the NBA app. It's better with my new phone but for being the "AT&T" Center........

How about another championship banner? That's all the upgrade we need.

didnt san antonio pick to use tax dollars on the last upgrade in 2000 instead of via trains running down 281 or something?

I think the one feature i would most like to see added, at least this season, is a home court advantage. Yeah, that's pretty much it.

$3 Mil WiFi upgrade is scheduled. It will be for all phone systems. It would be nice to pull up scores and game stats.
Sprint service is all but nonexistent now.

Meh, it's fugly and I don't really like the info on it. Imho the 4x full HD screens above the court in Dallas' American Airlines center is the way to go:

Living in Dallas and being used to the AAC, I was shocked when I went back to SA for the WCF last year and saw how tiny the screens and stat boards were. It was like stepping back into the 90s. They are definitely in desperate need of an upgrade.

I remember being in the viewing party, never realizing until that moment how bad the screens were. Terrible image quality. You could barely make out the score on the broadcast.

Hopefully, they'll bump it up to 7mm to get a damn reliable A/C unit in there.

Need to upgrade the area around the AT&T Center.

I believe this was the idea when they built it, but sadly never happened.

The AT&T Center is a great arena. I've been to my share of NBA arenas and I love the AT&T Center. Where they put it though is another story. They dropped the ball on that one. Horrible location.

They need some type of lighting or logo on that stadium roof.

and finally free wifi

How could it? It's a bunch of stock and rail yards. Big businesses have major money invested in that land, and they were never going to give that up so that AT&T Center Pkwy could get turned into a tourist trap.

Combine that with terrible traffic infrastructure and nothing within walking distance worth actually walking to, and we see what we are left with...a pretty arena that's stuck out in the middle of the ghetto.
