Obviously the boy deserves applause. It's a shame he died.
What I want to know is this - he rescued 6 family members. Only 2 of them were children. So why the fuck are 4 grown ass adults letting an 8 year old be the one to go back into a burning house?
No shit. This kid proves one can overcome his genetic constraints tbh

Remarkable courage at that age. Far more than many adults, although sense of mortality at that age is different. But still, the heart that kid had. Remarkable

i just read about this story, tragic indeed. shame on the adults who allowed him to run back into that inferno. according to the story, he broke away from his aunt and ran into the house.

Reminds me of that car commercial where the 8 year old was carrying some person out of a burning building.
Oh the real though, heroic deeds by that kid. RIP little man.

What a hero... So sad on many different levels. Such a remarkable act for such a small child. RIP Tyler

Remarkable courage for an 8 year old tbh, agree, though there were clearly better ways to demonstrate his courage (like stealing his grandma's SUV and later bumping into a mailbox).

That's some Forrest Gump shit right there
He'll get a citation, the POTUS will talk about him. If he's black (not sure), he'll be up there with Tupac and Biggy.
