I'm just curious. I know people who go crazy buying stuff they don't need, but want, like Bluray players, Wide screen TV's etc.

Myself. I just finished doing my federal return. I'll be writing them a check for $49. I don't know what it's like to get a fat check from my Uncle Sam.

If I get the $50 back I gave TSA to be my front man then I might just search out two hot Pakistani chics for the $25 parking lot BBBJ.

We haven't qualified for the eic since my wife and I got together (I sold insurance rather badly the year that we got together and ended up qualifying for it on a single return). We might qualify this year due to my layoff last year, but I am not sure yet. In the event that we get it, it will be going 1st into a some sort of risk free, very liquid account (to replenish our savings, and then it will go towards helping to create another income stream to increase my monthly cash flow (looking hard into vending).

Not gonna buy your half-black kid a gift for the Chinese new year if you get the money back?

Just going to use it all to bring the payment down on my car. Maybe save 5 bills to plan a vacation.

I pay at the end of the year by choice. I choose not to give the government an interest free loan. I already pay over $2k monthly for state and federal taxes on my income. That's not counting FICA yet.

Just did my state return. I'll be sending them $111.

If I chose to pay excess income tax each paycheck, I could get a really large return.

Thing about me starting this thread is most people don't need EIC. They buy stuff that isn't a necessity, and people like me are helping them pay for it. Such wealth redistribution should be classed as criminal in my book.
