At least Curry over CP3 is somewhat explainable - CP3's votes fell off after he got injured, and he doesn't have the Chinese fanbase to keep voting for him anyway like Kirby and Yao have had :lol

More than flopping, he draws fouls by sticking the ball out so he can get hit on the arm.

He's too talented to be doing shit like that. That's why I also dislike Durant.

Durant can stand in one spot, not making a move to the basket and get a call. Which he does most of the time.

It's why Aldridge isn't. He's been much better than Kevin Love and look where his team is.

Kyrie because LOL East...

Love because people are stat watching, just checking box scores. They probably never seen him play.

Paul George because lol East (but he deserves it)

LMA has been beasting, flat out. He should be starting if it was about performance.

It's really not about the big market vs small market conundrum. It's people being stupid to snub players who deserve to be starting.

I'm a K-Love fan (lol go UCLA) BUT there is no way he deserves the starting spot over LMA.

He's been good this year, his popularity took a major hit after the Orlando and Lakers debacle. Winning cures all though, so he'll get plenty of love afther this season.

I like Love but man I have to agree that dude has been empty stat padding. Dwight has been doing w.e it takes to win. Dude gets wayy less touches than he should and still avgs 20ppg.

No doubt, I also feel Dwight deserves it over Love. I mean, it's the freaking ASG, I honestly want to see the best and most entertaining players on the floor.

Anyway, it's funny how Curry has a million votes. I really find that hard to believe :lol NBA office playing with numbers obviously building this "clean cut, all american" kid up. :lol

all star starters are just fans choices so you saw the likes of Yao getting elected-in year after year. All-star reserves are picked by coaches and hence are more accredited imho.

Truth imo

Why don't we do it this way:
Starters - players, coaches and GMs vote
Reserves - Free-for-all for the chinks aka common people vote

I've got no problem with Love over LA. Both are stat padders but LA happens to be on a better team.

The real joke is Irving. Never seen someone just barely above average get so much attention.

The sad part is someone like Kyle Lowry won't make it even though he clearly deserves it.

Agreed. Despite everybodys homerism on this board, Aldridge has been balling and the TrailBlazers have been a huge suprise this season. If anybody is deserving of a starting forward spot in the West, it's Aldridge.

Side note: now it's looking more and more likely that Parker may not make the ASG, considering the pool of talent at the guard spot

Remaining potential All star guards:

Lillard
CP3
Harden
Ellis
Conley
Lawson

Not gonna count Westbrook, considering injury, but damn the West is stacked with quality players that could potentially have a case for making the ASG for the 1st time

Edit: Obviously Harden and CP3 are excluded from the previous statement.

Must be amazing making the all-stars with 6 games played while averaging 14 PPG/4 REB/6 AST and 6 TOV on 42% shooting.

What I don't understand is that they obviously don't have any problem with changing with the voting system. They've been fucking with it for years now.

For some reason, though, they just refuse to do anything to actually fix it.

Barkley is one of the dumbest niggas on the planet, tbh:lol..

Kawhi is one of my favorite players, but he has had 1 All-Star caliber stretch all season, and it only lasted about 4 games:lol..

Jordan has been great this year, but an All-Star?:lmao..

Westbrook, an All-Star with so many games missed?!:lmao..

It's funny that there are still morons that believe NBA people have credible opinions, just because they won the genetic lottery, tbh..

Deandre Jordan is having (statistically speaking) a Ben Wallace-esqe season, it would not be a sham if he made the team, IMO.

I've got no problem with Love over LA. Both are stat padders but LA happens to be on a better team.

LA has been pretty dominant this year (he's improved his game especially his rebounding), tbh. Dude's been taking over games in the 4th quarter & winning, I don't see how that's stat padding.

He's a legit MVP candidate, IMO.
