Come on man. You are a decent poster, but posts like these are dumb. Those 3 guys are very important to the Spurs' success. Regardless if Wade plays or not, that game can't be fully measured since those 3 aren't available.

Not saying our other losses are excusable, but if we happen to win on Sunday, it's going to be a legit win.
I hear what you're saying but you can't seriously believe splitter out is a disadvantage against the heat.

Can't fucking wait for us to get back to full strength in a month. lol Oh lawdy, teams better get whatever wins they can now, tbh.

I do think the Heat are a bad matchup for him. But it's better playing him than Ayres and Splitter is still a solid defender. The Heat are more of a team for Diaw.

And you definitely can't discredit Leonard and Green. Both are great defenders to throw at LeBron. Instead Diaw is going to have to exhaust himself against LeBron while Marco and Cory are going to get destroyed.

Just because Wade has the more impressive resume, it doesn't mean Leonard and Green's impact should be downplayed.

Agreed. Considering these guys nearly beat us in San Antonio, I wasn't confident about tonight.

Don't be fooled. Atlanta looked straight up awful out there.

Coach Bud is doing a pretty decent job out there in Atlanta considering what he's got, but the Hawks are totally overrated. I don't care what position they are in right now; they are barely over .500 in the weakest Eastern Conference this decade (which is a pretty strong fucking statement).

Spurs definitely need to stock-pile all the wins they can right now with this injured cast, but this game is worth nothing more than a W.

Sweet win. I honestly thought we'd lose, but good win and gave Duncan and Parker some rest as well. Plus Nando stepped it up and got some burn.

At least there are enough shitty teams in the NBA to get to 50 again.

I didn't think this Patty-Parker combo could work as well as it did tonight.

Jeffrey Offerman was decent. Seemed to run the floor well and was aggressive on the boards.

honestly I like Nando and wish he'd get more playing time. Bruno wishes he'd play more obviously. Guy has great court vision, just good to see him finally make some shots.

I'd still question green in this matchup now, offensively speaking, after they figured him out in game 6 and the guy has no plan b to turn to. Leonard's value is obviously there but it's just no where near wades value AT the moment. That's all I'm saying.

He plays selfish out there because of the lack of burn, lots of forced shots but he has IQ. Hopefully he gets more minutes for a few weeks

Nando's played better than Cojo in garbage minutes. Not sure why Cojo's getting more minutes than him, tbh.

His shooting percentages this season are about average for his career, both 2 and 3 pointers... even after his injury... don't know where this "broken" meme comes from.

Referring to last season and into the playoffs. His shot was fine to start the season, and seems to be going south.

And Miami will probably focus on him and shut him down again... that's what good teams do. That's why there's Belli as another option now. I don't think the Spurs have any regrets about Manu, and looking at the fact Pop hasn't changed his role an iota, it looks like they're happy with what they have there. Hopefully he can stay healthy.

It's not about what good teams do, it's about what good players do. Can you post a link to where Pop has said Manu's role is not to score/space the floor and simply create? I think they paid him because they feel he should be able to and needs to do what most players making his money do - everything.

I think Pop values Cory's defense if anything.

Regardless, good thing Patty has stepped up this year. Nando or Cory as the backup would be ugly.

Whatever happens Sunday, I just don't want them to get fucked in the ass and be the ones responsible for ''waking'' them up as the media loves to justify the heat this season.

LeBron James will play a pedestrian game, again it'll be a combo of role players going HAM and Bosh

Referring to last season and into the playoffs. His shot was fine to start the season, and seems to be going south.

He was actually pretty poor all season last season... lots of up and downs... his FG% was nowhere near average, it was his 2nd worst shooting season. The only constant with last season is that he doesn't take shots in games where others are hitting, and he's driving better than last season.

I can post a link where Manu has said it, last season during the Finals. I would expect that's what Pop wants from him, otherwise he wouldn't have gotten a new contract and his role back. I think they paid him because they feel they did everything they needed to do to win a championship, including Manu, and they were a rebound away from it. I have the utmost respect for DaPointGuard, but I disagree on this specifically. I think the Spurs were fine with Manu getting all the attention from Miami, but they wanted to have another "out" that was not Gary Neal... that's where Belli comes in.

As the media will tell you, they are ''coasting'' and would be undefeated right now if ''they took each game seriously''

I don't think they figured him out as much as choosing to play him tightly. During the Finals Jeff Van Gundy kept showing how Green got open by running to the open side side of the half court when his defender turned to ball watch. They guarded him closely in game 6 & 7. Duncan got alot of single coverage, in large part because of Green being played tightly.

If Parker played better (because of his calf) we should have pulled out the championship.

Green may not get that hot again, but Miami will play closer attention to him opening the drive lanes and keeping a guard from doubling in the post.

I love that Diaw took 4 3's. He averages about 1 a game. He's 5-6 in the last 2 games. He also spent much of his time hanging out behind the line.

If he is going to be a starter in the playoffs it would be a benefit for him to attempt or at least spot up from there.

Yes, he didn't do that stupid pump fake. I absolutely hate that move when his defender is somewhere in the paint and that pump fake allows the guy to get back to him.

Nando should get some burn at SG if for no other reason than to try and improve his trade value. CoJo will never have much trade value in a league where PGs fall from the trees.

even when boris does pumpfake at the 3 point line, he has a very capable drive and post up skill set and can take it to the basket in a variety of flaky croissant ways
