I tried to get some box scores for the games last night, and it looks like the whole NBA section, except for the NBA main page, is gone. What the fuck? :lol

Yeah not working for me either.

Which is a shame because ESPN boxscores are vastly superior to NBA box scores. NBA.com is infuriating in that any time you want to load a box score it'll pre-load like 6 different videos and load/play a 7th, severely shitting up my computer. NBA.com box scores are utterly worthless to me. It's just too laggy.

Didn't you hear? As David Stern's final will and testament as commish, the NBA will be disbanded.

Edit: Didn't see the part about the main page still being up

Okay...looks like they got the Standings, Teams, and Players sections working now, but still no current stuff, like Scores or Schedules. HACKED BY CHINESE!

Not working?

I said the NBA section main page was working. Try looking at the scores from last night.

Yeah, I was forced to go to NBA.com. Their box score section sucks compared to ESPN.

No problem. Also, when you go to check the scores and get that stupid search page, it doesn't want to let you go back in your browser. LOL it's totally fucked.

Ok, the best box scores available are at basketball-reference. It's literally just text so there's 0 lag from videos or ads or spam.

I don't know if basketball-reference keeps tabs of box scores live, though. I know they have full box scores after games. I need to check that out...

But in the mean time if you want box scores from old games basketball-reference is supreme.

What the hell kind of computer do you have? I'm running a 6 year old dual core box with Vista and I have no issues. Theres actually an easy work around, too. When the box score page starts loading, mouse over the video frame and hit the pause button that will appear. Voila. No videos.

5 year old macbook pro. The lag occurs during the process of the video beginning to load. When the video actually starts to play, I do pause it, but that doesn't solve the lag problem.
