Pop called him a "mashugana" with I believe is Jewish slang for "centerpiece."

A yiddish term used as an exclamation to describe something as crazy or bizarre.
Oy veh, that putz has got to be mashugana to think I would go out with him!!

Jeffers had a dunk so I'm bumping this thread because dunks mean he is a good player and worthy of millions of dollars. Right?

I think we can all agree that Kawhi getting injured was a blessing in disguise, because it allowed us to find this guy, who now clearly looks like the back up SF that's been the missing piece on our championship team. Right?!

Old, undersized, D-Leaguer. Spurs doing a great job finding a backup to Kawhi.

He's doomed with this team anyways... he's not going to get a play called for him or anything like it...

What I liked about him is his activity on defense. I thought he did well. Small sample size, but if he's going to get minutes during his 20 day stay with the team, that's all you can ask.

There's no D-league talent that's going to make the difference in the NBA. It's like looking at an antique store for "hidden" gems. Everyone knows what they have, and if it's marked low, it's for a reason.

Everyone knows what they have, and if it's marked low, it's for a reason.Well, there are almost always two players who come in and become pretty productive NBA players for at least a couple of seasons, but that is usually after like 30 attempts at call-ups and multiple call-ups for those players. It's like having a third round pick you can do over several times.

I just don't get it why the Spurs didn't sign James Johnson, he's doing pretty well as backup for Prince.

Did well in garbage time but with Kawhi out, this guy could show what he got. Guys here who watched the game can tell you he's kinda old and undesized but very active..
