I have a bunch of gunk and build-up on my patio windows and Windex won't take it off.

Anybody have any tried-and-true methods so that I can clean them up?

Try "Blast" from the dollar store.
And I'm serious. I used it and it cleaned up stuff that other cleaners wouldn't.

No, I think it's just the dirt, soot and stuff from one year of living in apartments that are by a semi-busy street.

Half and half, white vinegar and water should take it off.

Alright, I'm going to try the vinegar/water solution first.

I just got home! While I was at Target, I was on the phone talking with my editor about some stuff when he gets a call that there was a gas leak near one of the dorms which meant evacuation.

So there I go to cover another story.

Just got home - and BTW, Target didn't have the light bulb I needed or vinegar.

Elbow grease.

Tried that with the damn Windex. It just made it worse.

I'm impressed with your restraint, LJ. If I were you, I would have told me to try some "ancient Chinese secret." :lol
