Sounds about right
would be nice to have Bonner in as well considering he's hitting 48% of his 3's (A career high)
The Spurs are #1 in 3pt shooting. GSW is 4th.

That would be cool to have teammates (Curry/Klay) in the 3PT contest. It's my personal favorite event of AS weekend.

Wish they'd add more players to the field and go back to split screen

They also need to add 1 more round to the shootout, goes by too quickly.

This is the only event worth watching during the All Star weekend nowadays.
Congrats to Marco if official. But yeah Bonner deserved another invite.

Really surprised Green didn't get an invite after the Finals he had. Then again maybe it's because of the injury. Anyway, good to see the Spurs and Beli in particular being recognized :toast

Agreed. It's not subjective like the dunk contest. It's legit fun/entertainment. It's about the only thing besides maybe the skills competition that is worth a damn at the All-Star Game.

I wish they'd bring back the Old-Timers game.

Surprised about Green, but why the hell is Korver only a "possibly"?

Bonner deserves another attempt. Should have won it last year, he went RAW in the finals round of the shoot out.. Just another opposing PG went harder against the Spur per par.

Shootout needs a shakeup. Either needs more competitors, add in retired players, or make a shootout with only bad shooters.

Remind me again why does Kyrie overrated Irving deserve a spot there?

I'd pay good money to watch Kendrick Perkins in a 3 point contest.

Better yet Josh Smith. Maybe he'll realize that he can't shoot. Something that everyone already knows.

Didn't he win last year? They always invite the reigning champ to return and defend their title.

Bonner did an incredible job tbh..Blew me away. 20 points in the final normally would be damn tough to beat.

One way they could improve the 3 point shoot out (imo) is by letting retired players participate too. It would be fun watching the likes of reggie miller and steve kerr go up against the young guns.

Was Tony Parker guarding Irving in the three-point shootout, tbh? :lol

I'd like to see the competition with the streakiest shooters like Danny Green and chuckers like Nick Young and Jordan Crawford. Nick Young would be my pick for "could score 3 or 25 in any given round."
I agree that a lineup of guys with zero range like Perkins would be hilarious. They might have to take their shots from 18 feet and still fail to score 10.
Now official.

:cry No love for det dude Beli? :cry
It's pretty ridiculous how Beli gets to the 3pt contest but not Green who just shattered the Finals 3pt record... Wonder how Green feel about Pop, had the old man not benched him, maybe things would have been different...

It's not Pop's fault that Green started the season in a shooting slump. He's ranked a very average 58th in three-point shooting percentage, and probably wouldn't even be able to participate due to his injury.

Frenchie doesn't deserve it. He's been shit all year outside of a few games.
