Probably our best chance to beat Houston with Harden out and we still fall short...That Hack a Howard shit is making Pop look bad along with our Team..

Sorry, Tiago+Green+Leonard (not to mention no Manu down stretch) >> Harden

We needed Jeffers to play at least 20 minutes tonight. His tenacity is unmatched.

Really hard to get down about games we lose when were not at full strength, honestly I think when Manu went down, the whole teams confidence just hit the ground. We looked really panicky and stuff. If Manu doesn't go down, we win for sure.

yeah i don't like it. i think the hacking thing lights a fire under their ass, especially on home court.
it's not like in LA where Dwight knows the crowd is 'meh' about him and he just wants to check out and his teammates are aware he's gonna bail.

no harden and we still lost. we kept it tight, but damn.

Missing 4 good players, I'm surprised it was even close.

Does this win make them better than us ? Oh no :(

Normally I have nothing against this strategy. I find it quite amusing tbh, but, tonight I think it hurt us badly.
He made only 52%, but it allowed the Rockets to get back on D and took away any chance of easy points for us.

With the group we were already missing (and Manu out as well in the third) we only had Tony and Boris able to create decent looks against a set defense we would have needed any easy point we could get tonight. Especially with the three not falling.

We open the game with 22-9 lead, I think that even if we have leaded by 30 we still be losing, it's typical pop, pop is so soft, and after that he is whining and acting like game 6 is just a bad luck and not his damn fault!!

but but, pop is a genius. the greatest coach of all time. we have no right to even criticize his shitty rotations and coaching. because he is an nba coach and we are just posters on a forum. we haven no right to say anything..

Hack-a-Howard is intended to change momentum. Only Pop is genius enough to know why you'd want to change momentum for a guy who's shooting 3-11.

Pop never cease to outsmart himself... Can't teach an old dog new tricks tbh, and it's now worse than ever as he's surrounded by rookie coaches...

Rockets lengthened their lead during the 3rd qtr hackathon.

DH scores 13 FTs, Spurs lose by 7.

I wonder if Pop was using it to buy time for Duncan. He sat out from the 4 minute mark of the 3rd to about the 8 minute mark of the fourth. That 3rd quarter took ,like, 45 minutes to finish.

It has worked in the past and it will work again.

Those who think it's definitively a bad strategy are wrong. It was wrong in this situation because it did not work?
Excellent logic. If you stated in a thread when it was first employed in last nights situation and backed it up with reasoning, pat yourself on the back and post the thread.

How does one purchase an advanced rear view mirror? I need one for the stock market.

Howard made Timmeh his beeyatch.

Did you tune in at halftime? Timmeh destroyed him in the opening frame. Add Splitter to the fray for half those possessions and it would only have been better to give Timmeh possessions off.

And then Tim got tired and pwned.
