Just to get this out of the way, anybody who criticizes this movie for being "stupid" needs to die. That's the entire damn point. That said, for a stupid movie it's pretty funny. John Cusack was the most boring character in the movie so i'm glad he's not in the prequel.

One of the funnier comedies that have came out of late...I would recommend...

Actually it was pretty inane, so inane and ridiculous that I liked it.
And the producers got away with it, it made money.

It looked so bad in the previews and then I couldn't believe how hilarious it was. The only comedy of the last 10 years that I thought was as good was Superbad.

Pretty much this. The previews were very bad, but then I was convinced by others on this site to give a shot. It's pretty good

Its not going to be the same without Cusack. He was the focal point of the first film. It's not that he was funny, its that he made you want to root for him to overcome his demons in the film.

I really enjoyed the chemistry those 3 guys have. If there's anyone that should be gone its that pudgy lesbian looking kid.

saw it opening night at the Drafthouse. Had just drank some beer when Craig Robinson was crying about sucking Rob Cordry's dick, and I lost it, just spewed that beer in the air and you could see it raining down on the ladies in front. They were like "oh grossss". Worst is I didn't apologize, I literally sunk in my chair and acted like I wasn't there. Very good movie, Rob Cordry is the best part. Weird to see Cusack try to embrace his 80s roots after shitting on the all time great Better Off Dead.

Grosse Pointe Blank is a better film than Hot Tub but both are great at what they are meant to be.

You must be a John Cusack fan? I think I can enjoy pretty much any of his movies. Probably my favorites are In The Garden Of Good And Evil followed by the The Ice Harvest. I don't know if you are familiar with it, but his character and his acting in The Paperboy will absolutely make your skin crawl!

Yes! But Adam Scott is going to replace Cusack? Seriously? Scott looks like a freakin' douche...He's just got one of those faces and he always plays the guys you root against. I predict the second one will be a flop. Hopefully Robinson and Corddry can save it.

somewhat of a Cusack fan. Better Off Dead though is just a classic film, and Grosse Pointe Blank is one of the best movies of the 90s. He's got some real good films. I also consider Con Air one of the great guilty pleasures of all time. But I'll admit I haven't seen all of his films. I'll try to check out the ones you recommended.
