I was watching the game tonight, and I just couldn't get into it, tbh..

The game just isn't fun to watch anymore IMO..

All the PED abusers, the refs playing such a big part in every game(allowing certain defenses to get away with murder, PIs, etc), the QBs getting overpaid, the flopping and general softness of today's game, etc..

The NFL just isn't exciting anymore, I think Harlem is finished with watching the NFL, anybody feel the same way?..

-Arizona in Seattle
-San Diego in Denver
-Jets beating New England

Close calls/competitive games that looked like blowouts on paper:
-Cleveland almost winning in New England
-Tampa Bay at 0-8 blowing a 21 point lead and losing in OT at Seattle!
-Denver and Dallas in that crazy shootout early in the year

It's especially noticeable because the lack of true NFL quality QB's is glaring. No other sport (maybe Baseball because of pitching, although they don't play every game like NFL QB's) relies on one player so much and there are just not 30 quality NFL QB's. Its a tough position and not everyone should be HOF, but there aren't even legit NFL starters outside of about 15 or so.

It's a watered down league that outside of a few moments isn't that entertaining. Its the reason Red Zone is so popular. The games themselves are so boring that the only thing that keeps them entertaining is fast forwarding to only the good parts :lol

tbh this game was terrible and hopefully not a prelude of what's to come in the NFL. We've honestly been spoiled with a ridiculous run of great SB's that it was almost unheard of for a game of this magnitude to be this bad. I agree with this. My big fear as I said at my SB party is Kaep getting overpaid. Of course everyone was like "You have to pay him, you'll be nothing without him" but I think what has hurt the league is two things. First, they try to make it more pass happy yet there isn't enough supply to meet the demand for a pass happy league. Hence you have a lot of hacks getting overpaid. You and me are in agreement that Manning is worth the money, but tonight is what happens when you put all your eggs in one basket. Seattle was more dominant in all aspects.

Second problem with the league is the rulebook is out of control. If a company man like Mike Perreira says it's way too confusing from the refs he still talks with, then it's a serious problem.

I've always enjoyed basketball more than football anyways but I do think the NFL has some serious issues despite the reports of record profitability imo.

Forgot to mention, there's not really "parity". Look at who has represented the AFC the past few years... Colts, Pats, Broncos, Ravens, etc etc, most of them have been in the running for awhile now. It's not like the Browns are going from 2-14 to SB winners. It's not complete parity... any given Sunday rule holds, but overall, the teams tend to maintain certain records (barring injuries, good young QBs drafted, etc etc).
