We have owned Seattle in Frisco and were one play away from takiing then down in our..third...Championship game recently. Obviously the weak ass AFC would struggle beating any of the better NFC teams. So it is up to the city by the bay. Which is without question the most beautiful city in America.

We need a burner on the outside, talking a 6-4 sprinter. Start getting Hunter/James involved in the short passing game, start giving Gore a break, using Marcus Latimore and add some defensive depth. Kaepernick is only going to get better and better.

hope you're right about Kaep. Seattle is easily the best team this season and could be next, but I think Niners are the one team that could derail them. If Kaep can take his game to another level or so, he could be something. FO has done a fantastic job the past few years, they need to just keep plugging away.

Damn, 9ers are done before the season even starts all thanks to Avante and his predictions.

Avante was on the money about Russell Wilson winning a SB, so I'll take his faith in the Niners.

Misleading. Niners have always won close games at home against Seattle while the Seahawks have routinely blown them out in Seattle with the exception of the NFC Title game. I don't see the Niners surpassing them unless Kaep makes major improvements and its unlikely. The defense has slightly regressed each season since Harbaugh's first season. Seattle is a younger team overall as well and Wilson has better intangibles than Kaep.

I could've sworn he said either Kaep or Wilson were going to win the SB this year, which is true, I think Niners would have steamrolled the Broncos as well. Maybe he chose Broncos as a reverse jinx. Strange since he was on the Wilson bandwagon from the beginning.

He even said he wanted to take the Seahawks but they were "too shaky on the road" :lol

Niners = f:lolcked...

I don't think San Fran's secondary is good enough to dominate Denver's receivers like Seattle did. San Fran probably has a better front 7 than Seattle even though its close, but the Seahawks have a much better secondary.

well his original instincts on Seattle were spot on so I don't mind him feeling good about Niners. He does keep up with them a lot and black athletes in general.

Kaep needs to improve between the ears or no SuperBowl win. Ever.

Harbaugh needs to push this and stop sugar coating.

The Bowman injury was huge. The Niners definitely need secondary help, another edge DE along Aldon Smith, and a fast receiver. Luckily, I think the Niners have 13 picks in this upcoming draft to address those needs. Maybe group them up and trade for an impact player.

I'm not worried about Kaep. Sure he made some questionable throws but as Seattle showed, it's more than just the QB.

Kaep has to improve.

Yes there are other areas where the team is lacking, but it doesn't matter if Kaep throws the ball in double coverage.

He needs to not stare down his receivers. That's his issue--locking on a receiver and not reading or moving the DB off his cover.

Wrong

What is your theory on what exactly happened to him? Is there any chance he can rebound?

I believe the first thing is that the offense was predicated around him this year. In years past, Gore was the 1st option as they would pound first then allow Kaepernick to improvise on the roll out or out of the pocket. He hasn't learn how to read defenses yet. You look at Brady--many people marvel at his eyes as he does not stall on a read and looks through his progressions with pinpoint accuracy. Kaepernick, as mentioned by Seahawks and other teams' defenders--has been unable to go through his progression. I think its too much to expect him to be in the pocket and only run when need be. I don't know if you're ever going to fix him. It'll have to be under a new O coordinator and probably a new offensive philosophy.

Coaching Staff tried to evolve him into a mobile Pocket Passer (Steve Young/Aaron Rodgers). He has failed miserably.

Time to scrap it all and return to gimmicky running QB offense. Fix the offensive line and run him into the ground. Not sure how this translates to Winning Championships in the big picture but at this rate the Offense will be improved and team back into the Playoffs.

CN, who did beat the Chargers in their only SB showing, oh yeah....Niners.

yeah, so everybody here is seeing that Kaep relies on a gimmick offense. that's why he's not a guy you can build with long term
