CIA Pop? Really? At the expense of more Ayres?

Diaw needs rest too so I don't mind the move. He's played as much basketball as Parker has all summer.

Pop just doesn't want to be one-upped by D'Antoni. He wants to get down to 5 players and have a guy on the floor with 6 fouls just for the fuck of it.

Less Diaw means more Ayres and Bonner. :td

If the Lakers had Bonner last night, the league would've allowed them to call the rest of the game off in the name of humanity.

Ayres is a better rebounder than both. Ayres > Diaw > Bonner

Man we're gonna get fucked. I'm sure they'll be out for revenge after that New Year's Eve debacle.

So that's Parker, Ginobili, Leonard, and Diaw out. Duncan mostly will (and should) sit after going HAM last night.

That leaves a 10-man cast of misfits.

Mills - Brown - Green - Bonner - Splitter
Joseph - Beli - De Colo - Ayres - Baynes

Duncan's sitting tonight with tightness in his lower back.

Tonight would be a good night for Brown to prove that he wants more than a 10 day contract..

Couldn't watch it cause ILP was borked for this game but the box score confirms that he def shit the bed. Too bad for him, and us I guess. Hope the Spurs pick up Nunnally when Brown's ten day runs out. Least he can defend...
